We're hiring a Content Marketing Specialist to join our growing team at Whova in San Diego! π
This role goes beyond writing blogs. You'll work closely with product managers, designers, engineers, customer success, and sales to tell compelling stories about our products and customers.
You'll create content such as:
π Product blogs announcing new features and enhancements
π Customer success stories and case studies
π₯ Video scripts and product demo content
π€ Webinar slides and educational materials
π Brochures, website content, and email campaigns
π‘ Thought leadership articles on event technology and AI
You'll interview customers, learn about new product releases, simplify complex ideas, and create content that educates, inspires, and drives business growth.

We're looking for someone who loves writing, is naturally curious, enjoys learning new technology, and can turn complex ideas into clear and engaging stories. If you're excited to grow your skills while making an impact, we'd love to hear from you!
Qualifications
- BA/BS degree in English, Journalism, Communications, Marketing, Business, or related field.
- Exceptional writing, storytelling, and editing skills.
- Ability to write for different audiences and formats while maintaining a consistent brand voice.
- Strong customer interviewing and research skills.
- Ability to understand and communicate technology concepts to business audiences.
- Outstanding written communication skills with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly and simply.
- Ability to quickly learn software products and technical concepts.
- Experience creating technical documentation, instructional materials, or knowledge base content is preferred.
- Experience creating B2B marketing content, customer stories, or digital content is preferred.
- Familiarity with SEO, AEO, content marketing, webinar production, or video scripting is a plus.
- Self-motivated, curious, and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment.
Compensation
- Salary: $50,000 - $60,000 annually, depending on matching experience.
