About Third View Private Wealth
Third View Private Wealth is an independent, SEC-registered investment adviser headquartered in Westport, Connecticut. We serve the complex needs of high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth individuals and families through a deeply personalized, multi-family-office experience. Our approach brings together private wealth management, institutional-quality investment capabilities, financial planning, philanthropic guidance, and access to alternative and private-market opportunities. We coordinate closely with clients' tax advisors, trust and estate attorneys, and banking professionals, so investment decisions are thoughtfully aligned with their broader objectives.
Position Overview
The Marketing Manager will bring the Third View brand to life across digital channels, client communications, events, advisor marketing programs, presentations, collateral, and the firm's public presence. The role is approximately 75% hands-on execution and 25% planning, coordination, and performance analysis.
You will initially partner closely with the Co-Founders and advisors on positioning, priorities, and major messaging decisions. As you learn the business and demonstrate sound judgment, you will be expected to assume increasing ownership of the brand, marketing calendar, technology platforms, vendors, budget, performance reporting, and forward-looking strategy.
This is the central marketing role within the firm. Success requires both a service mindset and an owner's mindset: you will support advisors and business-development priorities while also setting standards, creating repeatable systems, protecting brand consistency, and constructively challenging work that does not meet the firm's expectations.
What You Will Own
Brand Stewardship & Firmwide Marketing Leadership
• Serve as the internal owner and steward of the Third View brand across every external and internal touchpoint.
• Translate the firm's purpose, expertise, and client experience into clear positioning, compelling stories, and consistent communications.
• Develop and maintain practical brand, voice, visual, and editorial guidelines; build templates and systems that help every colleague represent the brand well.
• Set and manage the firmwide marketing calendar, priorities, workflows, and standards in partnership with leadership.
• Identify materials, messages, or experiences that are inconsistent with the firm's promise and lead the work required to improve them.
• Act as a proactive marketing partner to advisors and leadership: bring recommendations, make informed tradeoffs, and move approved initiatives forward with limited supervision.
Digital Marketing & Campaign Management
• Develop and execute integrated campaigns across email, social media, web, events, and other relevant digital channels.
• Own day-to-day administration and optimization of Snappy Kraken / beehiiv and other communication platforms, including email campaigns, automated nurture programs, client communications, social content, lead-generation campaigns, and audience segmentation.
• Manage and strengthen the firm's presence on LinkedIn and other relevant social channels, including content for the firm and selected advisors.
• Coordinate landing pages, forms, calls-to-action, and campaign follow-up; identify opportunities for more targeted and personalized engagement.
• Maintain a dependable publishing cadence and ensure campaigns, communications, and events launch accurately and on schedule.
Content, Communications & Creative
• Write, edit, design, and coordinate high-quality emails, newsletters, articles, social posts, website copy, presentations, pitch decks, biographies, one-page materials, brochures, fact sheets, event materials, and client communications.
• Turn advisor conversations, investment perspectives, planning insights, client questions, market commentary, and firm news into approachable, useful content.
• Customize Snappy Kraken / beehiiv and other third-party content so it reflects Third View's voice, advisors, client base, and brand rather than feeling off-the-shelf.
• Create and maintain polished templates and a central library of approved, current materials; remove outdated items from circulation.
• Manage routine website updates and coordinate with external design, development, search, photography, video, or content partners when specialized support is needed.
Client, Prospect & Event Marketing
• Develop initiatives that support qualified prospect generation, client engagement and retention, referrals, and relationships with centers of influence.
• Create segmented communication strategies for clients, prospects, referral partners, and other priority audiences.
• Support advisor prospecting and business-development efforts with campaigns, presentations, collateral, and timely follow-up communications.
• Design automated prospect and client journeys that improve consistency while preserving Third View's personalized, high-touch experience.
• Support client-appreciation, educational, prospecting, and community events from concept and promotion through execution and post-event follow-up.
Marketing Technology & Operations
• Serve as the internal subject-matter resource for Snappy Kraken, Beehive, CRM tools, website/CMS platforms, social media tools, analytics, and related marketing systems.
• Build and maintain marketing workflows, contact lists, audience segments, campaign templates, and automated communications.
• Promote accurate contact data and useful segmentation across marketing and CRM platforms; partner with colleagues to resolve data-quality issues.
• Identify opportunities to integrate marketing technology, streamline manual processes, and improve speed without sacrificing quality or control.
• Select and manage outside marketing partners and freelancers; establish clear scopes, timelines, deliverables, budgets, and measures of success.
Analytics, Compliance & Project Management
• Establish practical KPIs and report on email engagement, website traffic, social engagement, lead generation, event performance, campaign conversion, and qualified opportunities.
• Use performance data to recommend improvements to messaging, targeting, channels, content, and campaign strategy; focus on meaningful indicators rather than vanity metrics.
• Help leadership understand which activities contribute to qualified prospect conversations, new-client acquisition, engagement, and firm growth.
• Manage projects from idea through drafting, review, compliance approval, publication, measurement, and archiving.
• Coordinate marketing materials through applicable compliance processes and maintain organized records of approved campaigns and advertisements.
• Manage multiple stakeholders, vendors, and deadlines while maintaining excellent judgment, version control, accuracy, and attention to detail.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, business, or a related field.
• Approximately 3-6 years of professional experience in marketing, content, communications, or brand management, preferably in wealth management, financial services, professional services, or another regulated industry.
• Exceptional writing, editing, proofreading, and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex ideas into clear, accessible content.
• A portfolio demonstrating strong work across several formats, such as campaigns, social content, presentations, articles, emails, brochures, events, or websites.
• Experience managing multi-channel digital campaigns, email marketing, marketing automation, and projects from concept through completion.
• Strong working knowledge of PowerPoint and Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar creative tools.
Strong organizational skills, sound judgment, and the ability to manage multiple projects without losing quality or attention to detail.
• A collaborative, service-oriented approach and the confidence to provide constructive guidance to advisors, leadership, colleagues, and external partners.
Preferred Experience:
• Marketing experience within an RIA, wealth-management firm, multi-family office, asset manager, bank, fintech, insurance company, or financial-services agency.
• Hands-on experience with Snappy Kraken and familiarity with Beehive or a similar marketing/client-engagement platform.
• Experience with a financial-services CRM such as Wealthbox, Redtail, Salesforce, or a comparable system.
• Familiarity with SEC/FINRA marketing and advertising considerations and compliance-review workflows.
• Experience with paid digital campaigns, SEO, website analytics, webinars, seminars, client events, or advisor-led educational programs.
• Experience managing agencies, freelancers, designers, photographers, videographers, printers, or other outside vendors.
Direct RIA experience is helpful, but it is not required. We would rather hire a strong writer and thoughtful marketer with excellent judgment than someone who knows the industry but cannot consistently produce excellent work.
