What we’re looking for
We’re looking for a detail-oriented, versatile Copywriter to join our creative team and work primarily on one of our largest telecommunications accounts.
This role sits at the intersection of creative copywriting and production. You’ll work across a high volume of customer communications, promotional offers, retention initiatives, and marketing assets, turning complex information into clear, accurate, on-brand, and engaging copy.
This is not a role where every assignment starts with a blank page. A significant part of the work involves adapting existing messaging across different offers, audiences, formats, and deliverables while maintaining consistency and accuracy. At the same time, we need someone with strong creative instincts who can recognize when an opportunity calls for a better headline, a smarter message, or a more compelling way to communicate.
The environment is fast-paced, priorities can shift quickly, and attention to detail matters. If you enjoy making complex things simple and can move comfortably between creative thinking and precise execution, you’ll fit right in.
What you’ll do
- Write, edit, and adapt copy across a variety of customer-facing marketing communications and channels.
- Translate complex product, promotional, pricing, and offer information into clear and engaging consumer-friendly messaging.
- Support high-volume retention and promotional initiatives with multiple versions, variations, and deliverables.
- Maintain accuracy and consistency across messaging, particularly when working with detailed offers, requirements, disclaimers, and changing information.
- Adapt approved creative and messaging across different formats, audiences, products, and channels without losing the original intent.
- Develop headlines, messaging, and creative copy when assignments require a more conceptual approach.
- Partner closely with Art Directors, Designers, Project Managers, Account teams, and other Copywriters throughout the creative and production process.
- Incorporate feedback quickly and accurately while managing multiple rounds of revisions.
- Review your own work carefully for grammar, consistency, messaging accuracy, and adherence to brand guidelines before delivery.
- Manage multiple assignments simultaneously and meet tight deadlines in a fast-moving agency environment.
- Stay organized and accountable for assigned tasks, deadlines, and project information through our project management and time-tracking tools.
What you bring
- 5+ years of professional copywriting experience, preferably within an advertising agency, in-house creative team, or similarly fast-paced environment.
- Strong writing, editing, proofreading, and communication skills.
- Experience working with high-volume, production-oriented creative assignments.
- Exceptional attention to detail; you notice when a price, date, offer, CTA, product name, or line of copy doesn't match.
- The ability to understand complex information and translate it into simple, consumer-friendly language.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects, versions, and deadlines simultaneously.
- Comfort working within established brand guidelines while still bringing creative thinking to the work.
- Ability to receive feedback, make revisions quickly, and collaborate effectively across creative, account, and project management teams.
- A proactive, accountable working style and the ability to operate effectively when priorities shift.
- Experience with telecommunications, CRM, retention marketing, promotional campaigns, or highly regulated/technical accounts is a plus.
What success looks like
You’re someone the team can trust with both the idea and the details. Your copy is clear, accurate, and on-brand. You understand the difference between an assignment that needs fresh creative thinking and one that needs disciplined execution. You can manage a large volume of work without sacrificing quality, ask questions when something doesn’t make sense, and keep moving when deadlines are tight. Most importantly, you understand that great copy is about communicating the right thing, clearly and effectively.
