Work Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:00 PM OR 9:00 AM–5:00 PM | No weekends. Hybrid schedule available after the first two weeks, with up to 2 days working from home based on performance.

Our client is a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting communities and partnering with a large network of member agencies. The organization works closely with community partners to provide resources, programs, and support to those in need.
Job Description:
We are seeking a Communications Manager to support communication and engagement with a network of 400+ member agencies. This position will manage weekly newsletters, coordinate webinars and meetings, and assist with various agency communications and administrative projects.
The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple priorities. Strong communication skills and experience with marketing, communications, or administrative coordination are important for success in this role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and distribute a weekly newsletter to member agencies using Mailchimp
- Collect, organize, and review content from various internal teams
- Ensure communications are clear, accurate, timely, and appropriate for the intended audience
- Coordinate 1–2 webinars each month, including invitations, reminders, and follow-up communications
- Promote upcoming webinars and other agency updates through email communications
- Review presentation materials and work with internal teams to ensure content is easy to understand
- Assist with planning and coordinating occasional in-person meetings and events
- Support meeting registration, scheduling, logistics, and onsite administrative needs
- Prepare and send targeted or personalized email communications to member agencies
- Assist with maintaining a training/resource website and keeping information current
- Help manage certificates and maintain accurate records
- Provide general administrative and project support to the department
- Collaborate with internal teams to keep communications and projects organized and on schedule
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in communications, marketing, administration, or a related field
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent organization and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
- Comfortable working independently with minimal supervision
- Strong Microsoft Office skills
- Experience with Mailchimp preferred
- Experience with Salesforce, Microsoft Teams, and Zoom is a plus
- Nonprofit experience is a plus, particularly within food banking or a similar organization
