Senior Content Manager
A leading professional services organization is seeking an experienced
Senior Content Manager to take a key role in developing, editing, and managing high-impact content across multiple channels. This is a full time role and is on site 4 days a week. The ideal candidate is a polished writer and editor who can translate complex subject matter into clear, engaging content while maintaining a consistent brand voice. This individual will work closely with senior leaders and subject-matter experts, manage competing priorities, and ensure content is delivered accurately, strategically, and on schedule.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, write, edit, and oversee high-quality content including articles, reports, newsletters, web content, social media, and other communications.
- Maintain consistent organizational voice, tone, style, and editorial standards.
- Collaborate with senior stakeholders and subject-matter experts to develop compelling, audience-focused content.
- Review and refine content produced by internal teams and other contributors.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously while balancing priorities, deadlines, and incoming requests.
- Help establish and improve content processes, workflows, calendars, and editorial standards.
- Collaborate with marketing, communications, and business teams on broader content initiatives.
- Provide thoughtful editorial guidance while building strong relationships with senior stakeholders.
- Stay current with evolving content, digital, search, and AI-driven content practices.
Qualifications
- 7+ years of professional writing, editing, communications, or content management experience.
- Experience within a professional, corporate, consulting, financial, legal, or similarly complex-services environment.
- Exceptional writing, editing, proofreading, and communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to translate complex information into clear and compelling content for varied audiences.
- Strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Experience working with senior executives and subject-matter experts.
- Previous experience leading people, projects, editorial workflows, or content teams.
- Excellent judgment, attention to detail, discretion, and professionalism.
- Familiarity with digital content, SEO, emerging search practices, and AI-assisted content strategies is a plus.
