The Role

We are seeking to hire one transactional attorney—either an experienced associate or a partner, depending on seniority—to help us serve a growing pipeline of sophisticated legal work. The position is fully remote, with occasional travel to New York for client or industry events.

Core Responsibilities

You will lead and execute a wide range of transactional matters, including:

Venture capital fundraising (SAFEs, convertible notes, equity financings)
Private fund formation
Debt origination and documentation
Factoring, token prepayment, and revenue-based financing structures
Corporate contracts, including service agreements, commercial terms, and founder arrangements

You will have direct client contact, full ownership of your work product, and the opportunity to shape both your role and the firm’s development. We strongly value autonomy, creativity, and initiative.

What We’re Looking For

3–8 years’ experience in a transactional practice group at a leading law firm (BigLaw preferred)
Background in ECVC, M&A, or Private Funds is most relevant, though any transactional group will be considered
Excellent drafting skills and commercial judgment
Strong interest in cryptocurrency and emerging financial technologies
Comfort working independently and with startup clients
We are not currently considering litigators for this role

Crypto Experience Not Required

You do not need to have worked on cryptocurrency matters before. But you must be genuinely interested in the space. Nearly all of our clients are crypto-native, and you will quickly become fluent in their unique legal needs and frameworks.
