With over ten million followers worldwide and 1.2 million newsletter subscribers, Mark Manson is one of the largest and most respected personal development brands in the world. We deliver evidence-backed, scientifically validated life advice to tens of millions of people each month. We are also in the early stages of building out a media network to scale content beyond the Mark Manson brand and IP.

WHAT WE NEED

Someone who runs the email machine. We send millions of emails each week across a growing set of campaigns, sequences, and lead magnet funnels — and every one of them touches copy, design, product, data, and ads before it goes out the door. Right now that coordination is split across too many people. We need one person who owns it.

This role is part project manager, part email operator, part problem solver. You'll own the calendar and the workflow behind every send and every funnel: tasking the work, chasing the approvals, building and QA'ing in Kit, making sure the tracking is right before anything ships, and keeping our deliverability bulletproof so all of it actually lands in the inbox. You will have development support for the heavy technical lifts. You will NOT be writing the copy or making the design, but you're the person who makes sure both arrive on time, in the right place, tagged correctly.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

Owning email and website marketing operations end-to-end: every send, campaign, and new lead magnet funnel, from brief to launch to reporting.
Running the project management layer — tasking copy, design, reviews, and approvals, and holding the deadlines that keep the calendar moving.
Coordinating across content, product, ad, and data teams so email growth and content operations flow seamlessly and on time.
Building, testing, and QA'ing in Kit (ConvertKit): sequences, automations, templates, links, merge fields, and rendering — so nothing broken reaches a million inboxes.
Making sure tracking is implemented flawlessly on every send and every funnel, and that the numbers we report are numbers we trust.
Maintaining our Notion databases: documenting tagging and naming conventions, keeping clean records in the company knowledge base and funnel mapping systems.
Owning deliverability at scale: domain and sender reputation, authentication, list hygiene, sunsetting policies, and inbox placement monitoring across a list of well over a million subscribers.
Keeping list health and segmentation hygiene intact as the number of funnels grows.
Reporting performance and status directly to our Head of Growth.

WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR

YOU MUST HAVE:

3–5 years running marketing operations or marketing project management with email at the center of it.
Real working experience with lists of 200,000+ subscribers. Everything about email changes at scale, and we need someone who has already lived it.
Deliverability fluency you can prove: SPF, DKIM, DMARC, domain and sender reputation, list hygiene and sunsetting, warming, and inbox placement monitoring. You know what to do when placement slips, and you know it before the open rate tells you.
Hands-on building experience in Kit (ConvertKit) or a comparable ESP — you can build a sequence, wire the tags, and QA it yourself.
A confident command of email marketing best practices: segmentation, lifecycle sequences, testing, and what good looks like.
Serious project management chops. You can hold twenty moving pieces across five people and never drop one.
Incredible organizational instincts — you build the system, then you actually maintain it.
Exceptional written communication. Most of this job is getting other people to do things clearly and on time, in writing.
Experience working with remote teams across multiple time zones.
Fanatical attention to detail — you're the person who catches the broken link before it hits a million inboxes.
Self-sufficient and high agency. Comfort working in a small, dynamic, fast-moving remote team.
A sense of humor.

STRONGEST CANDIDATES WILL HAVE:

Real experience working and building in Notion databases.
Experience launching lead magnet funnels or acquisition campaigns from scratch.
Experience inside a creator business, newsletter operation, or media company.
Strong Claude Code skills to build custom dashboards, workflows, reports, and spreadsheets.
Familiarity with the health/wellness and/or self-help markets.
Based in the Los Angeles area.
