Role Summary

Grow organic awareness of My Rental Spot by engaging authentically in online communities where our target customers (landlords, property managers, real estate investors) already discuss software and business challenges. This role builds brand visibility and trust through genuine participation, not advertising.

Responsibilities

Monitor relevant online communities (Reddit, Facebook Groups, industry forums, Quora, BiggerPockets, etc.) for discussions related to property management, landlord tools, and software recommendations
Participate in these communities as a knowledgeable voice — answering questions, sharing insights, and recommending My Rental Spot when it's a genuine fit
Build and maintain a presence across target platforms, establishing credibility over time rather than posting one-off promotions
Track engagement metrics and traffic attributed to community activity
Identify recurring pain points, objections, and competitor mentions to relay to the product team
Ensure all engagement complies with each platform's community guidelines and disclosure requirements

Requirements

Excellent written communication skills — natural, conversational tone
Experience participating in or moderating online communities (Reddit, forums, Facebook Groups)
Interest or background in real estate, property management, or SaaS a plus
Self-motivated with good judgment about when and how to engage
Familiarity with basic marketing attribution (UTM links, conversion tracking)

Ideal Candidate

Someone who genuinely enjoys these communities and can speak credibly about landlord/PM challenges — this reads far more authentic (and performs better) than someone parachuting in only to promote.
