START HERE

Somewhere right now, there's a woman sitting alone at her kitchen table with an idea and a desire for creative expression. Maybe she owns a cutting machine she's a little overwhelmed to learn. She's watched the tutorials. She's dabbled, made one thing, and texted a photo to her sister.

What she comes to realize is that it was never about the thing she made. It's the memories, the skills, the calm of an afternoon spent creating, and the community of people she finds on the same path.

That's the whole business. Everything we sell - the classes, the memberships, the templates, the live events all exist to move her from "I could never" to "look at the world that becomes possible when I create."

As a creative education company, we've done that for tens of thousands of people through our products, and over a million have followed the journey across our platforms.

While we are known globally for Cricut projects, paper flowers, and digital crafting, the craft is just the doorway. The actual product is confidence, and for a growing number of our people, an income they didn't think was possible.

WHY WE ARE HIRING

Abbi has grown this business largely on her own instincts, but a founder can only be in one place at a time, and right now she's in all of them: strategy, launches, funnels, content, and deciding which of 40 good ideas to actually do this quarter.

We need one person who can own strategy in marketing and become the right hand to Abbi.

Not a project manager who waits for direction. A leader who can look at this business, find the money we're leaving on the table, build the plan, develop the team, and run it.

Fair warning about the first six months: Initially, you'll be leaning into execution. Learning the audience, getting inside the funnels, fixing what's held together with tape, and hiring more operational support underneath you.

After that, the job becomes what it's meant to be: you leading strategy and a team.

If "I'll build it, then I'll lead it" sounds like your kind of thing, keep reading.

THE JOB

1. Find the growth

You look at this business holistically. Where's the leak? What's working that we've under-fed? Which offer should exist next?

Own the marketing plan across launches, evergreen funnels, content, audience growth, and retention.
Dig into the numbers and the customer behavior and come back with "here's where the money is."
Improve the customer journey so more people buy, stay, and buy again.
Run thoughtful tests and experiments, digging into data and analyzing results.
Tell Abbi when a shiny new idea is a distraction.

2. Run the marketing

You turn the plan into a calendar, a team, and results.

Lead launch strategy end-to-end.
Scale proven evergreen offers.
Set the goals, the numbers, and the deadlines, and hold the line on them.
Direct the people doing the work: ads, creative, content, tech, ops.
Spot the bottleneck before it costs us growth.

3. Build the bench

In this role, you will lead by doing first, then step fully into leadership by expanding the existing team you want to direct.

You'll identify gaps in the team, then hire and onboard them while protecting revenue.
Set up the systems, docs, and rhythms that let work happen without you in the middle of it.
Make ownership obvious: who decides what, and by when.
Coach people into doing the best work of their careers.

4. Be Abbi's second brain

Pressure-test ideas before they become projects.
Bring recommendations and solutions, not just problems.
See the thing coming three months out and flag it in week one.
Disagree with her when you think she's wrong. That's part of the job, and she wants it.
Give her back the time to do what only she can do: create, teach, and be the face of this brand.

THE NUMBERS YOU OWN

(Abbi will set specific targets with you in your first 30 days)

Total revenue and revenue per launch.
Evergreen funnel revenue and conversion rate.
Customer lifetime value and repeat purchase rate.
Email list growth and engagement.
Membership retention.
Cost per acquisition across paid channels.
Percentage of marketing work executed by the team vs. by you.

WHAT A GREAT FIRST YEAR LOOKS LIKE

One clear marketing plan that connects our offers, launches, funnels, and content.
Scale evergreen revenue that shows up predictably each month.
Launches that beat the last one because we know why the last one did what it did.
A repeatable way of finding an opportunity, testing it, and scaling it.
A small team that knows what they own and hits their metrics.
Abbi spending most of her week creating, not coordinating.
You spending most of your week on strategy, not on tasks.

The honest measure: more revenue, a stronger team, and a founder who got her calendar back.

YOU'LL LOVE IT HERE IF

You get genuinely excited about a business you can pull apart and improve.
You know how to stay focused on what is most important.
You've been the person who saw the opportunity nobody else spotted, and built a plan to make it a reality.
You like our people: women who craft, teach themselves things, and cheer for each other.
You want autonomy and accountability.
You'd rather build something over five to ten years than collect another title.
You can hold a strategy conversation at 10 am and be in a spreadsheet fixing a funnel at 2 pm without feeling like the second one is beneath you.
You bring energy. We work hard while knowing the work is what makes our dream lives possible, and those lives deserve to be enjoyed.

YOU'LL HATE IT HERE IF

You need a big existing team, and everything handed to you.
You want to only do strategy starting day one.
You go quiet when you disagree.
You need someone to check on you.
You're looking for a two-year stop.

Scaled a seven-figure business through marketing.
Run both evergreen and launch-based revenue.
Built or rebuilt a marketing team from a messy starting point.
