Preferred Qualifications Position Summary
The position is responsible for helping implement and support all aspects of Institute-related work. Provides support and day-to-day management of assigned projects; especially activities related to the broadening and strengthening the engagement of client and stakeholders relationships. Designs and delivers Institute programs and trainings. Works closely with other faculty, staff, and teams to coordinate activities.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities And/or Competencies
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- In-depth analytical and organizational skills.
- Demonstrable report writing experience.
- Adequate web content and maintenance experience.
- Strong writing, proofing, and editing skills.
Physical Demands
- Lift 20 pounds and sit for extended periods of time at a computer.
- Driving for work-related activities.

- Provide Support to client and stakeholder relationship management including listserv maintenance, resource sharing, cultivating content for newsletter, and responding to general inquiries.
- Organize professional development opportunities for Institute employees.
Percentage of time 30 Duties/Responsibilities
Training and Education
- Support the delivery of the Fanning Institute Programming in conjunction with other Fanning faculty and staff.
- Design and deliver training content designed for constituent groups.
- Design and deliver state and national conference sessions to promote Institute program activities.
- Assist with conference coordination and delivery.
Percentage of time 30 Duties/Responsibilities
Mini-Grants
- Lead Mini-Grant process and oversight, including application process, reviews, ongoing support with financial processing/management, and communication with key partners.
- Manage external and UGA partner fund disbursement.
Percentage of time 20 Duties/Responsibilities
Other duties related to the Fanning Institute programming
- Assist Director, Associate Directors, and Center Directors with new projects and initiatives, support evaluation efforts, assist with fundraising efforts, and support with student programming
