Position: Summer Marketing Intern
$15.00 per hour starting pay
Essential Duties
Assist marketing team with on-site advertising including posters, signage and digital boards and marquee.
Projects professional appearance and manner.
Digital event marketing execution – including social media posts, e-newsletter blasts and website updates.
Run the North Shore Center marketing booth at various fairs, festivals and farmer’s markets during the months of May through August, including set-up, interaction with fans, ticket sales utilizing Ticketmaster software to process tickets and maintains accuracy in financial transactions and take down of booth.
Run the “Clue: A Walking Mystery” box office/information tent at Village Green Park as needed during July and August, including ticket sales and scanning, information distribution and customer service.
Performs any related tasks as assigned.

- This position requires excellent skills in customer relations, communications and problem solving.
- Qualified applicants must be available to work some nights and weekends, and occasionally holidays.
EDUCATION And/or EXPERIENCE
- High School diploma, GED or equivalent.
- Customer service experience desired.
- Must possess some knowledge of computer applications and be prepared to become skilled at Ticketmaster software program.
- Ability to accurately handle money.
- Ability to apply concepts of basic math on an Excel spreadsheet, calculator or adding machine and make correct change.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
- Applicant must possess current, valid driver’s license, current auto insurance and a current working cell phone with a number that can be accessed by building management personnel for business contact purposes.
Language Skills
- Ability to speak and understand English.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as instructions, policies and procedures.
