The Marketing Director will collaborate directly with the owner to execute a results-driven marketing strategy and establish Cary Estate Planning’s reputation as North Carolina’s preeminent estate planning firm.
This position plays a key role in executing a comprehensive marketing campaign that emphasizes high-quality content across the website, digital newsletters, and a heavy focus on paid social media advertising, specifically Meta. It will also include a brand-building strategy by enhancing visibility through the firm’s participation in industry conferences, podcasts, and other public engagements such as online webinars and in-person seminars.
As the Marketing Director, you will oversee all marketing efforts by ensuring messaging and position consistency, holding vendors and partners accountable, and driving campaign strategy to reach the firm’s marketing objectives.

Responsibilities
- Accountability & Reporting: Set and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure marketing effectiveness and optimize campaign strategy based on results. Report results to the leadership team and make high-level, data-based recommendations.
- Paid Social Strategy: We are looking for a Meta expert. Develop, execute, and optimize an engaging paid social content campaign on the firm's social media platforms to boost brand awareness and enhance reputation.
- CRM Management: Support data enrichment and record optimization, ensuring drip campaigns and activity touchpoints function seamlessly. Oversee accurate reporting and timely delivery of campaigns to meet marketing objectives.
- Content Management: Manage and publish content for various channels, including websites, digital newsletters, and social media platforms, tailored to diverse audience needs and objectives.
- Website Management: Update and maintain the website in WordPress, ensuring accuracy, functionality, and alignment with brand standards.
- Vendor Coordination: Collaborate with external marketing vendors to successfully execute marketing initiatives, including but not limited to SEO, LSA, and PPC campaigns, print, and mass media.
- Digital Newsletter Management: Oversee the firm's digital and print newsletters, including audience segmentation, scheduling and delivery, maintaining a content calendar, and analyzing performance metrics to drive engagement and improve outcomes.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5-7 years of marketing experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- Proficiency in [CRM], including experience with audience segmentation and automation workflows.
- Proven success in Meta Ads Manager with lead generation campaigns, managing $1M+ in total ad spend annually.
- Hands-on experience managing and editing content in WordPress.
- Proven experience managing digital newsletters using platforms.
- Understanding of marketing principles and best practices.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Excellent communication and writing skills.
