Emerald Transportation Solutions is seeking a Director of Marketing to lead all marketing efforts. This is a great opportunity for a Marketing Manager with 7+ years of experience to step into a high-impact role with visibility across the business. You’ll help shape go-to-market strategy, elevate brand presence, and partner cross-functionally with a small but mighty team that values trust, accountability, and results.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and execute strategic marketing plans to drive lead generation and increase brand visibility.
- Collaborate closely with the CEO and sales leadership to align marketing with business objectives.
- Utilize digital marketing tools and data-driven strategies to enhance the brand’s online presence and increase leads.
- Manage all digital marketing efforts, including web, SEO, email, social, and CRM campaigns
- Develop and manage marketing calendars, reporting tools, and sales enablement materials.
- Lead all aspects of trade show and event marketing (3 to 5 per year), including planning, booth design, and follow-up campaigns.
- Oversee and collaborate with their advertising agency partners, ensuring alignment with goals and challenging the status quo to foster innovation.
- Identify opportunities to improve internal processes and bring outsourced services in-house.
- Supervise one internal marketing team member and manage relationships with agency partners.
- Partner with Human Resources to produce a monthly internal electronic newsletter that keeps employees informed on company news, milestones, and culture-building initiatives.
Qualifications:
- 7+ years of marketing experience, ideally in B2B environments with a focus on digital lead generation.
- Proven experience in digital marketing with both strategic and tactical skills.
- Overall understanding of digital marketing with a working knowledge of existing Martech stacks, including websites, CRM systems, shared collaboration platforms, and PM software, enabling swift onboarding and immediate contribution to lead generation and digital marketing initiatives.
- Experience managing or collaborating with agencies on SEO, web, and brand campaigns.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to challenge and inspire both internal teams and agency partners.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with the CEO, team members, and agency partners.
- Ability to thrive in a changing market and manage multiple priorities effectively in an in-office environment.
- Data-driven mindset with the ability to analyze metrics and adjust strategies accordingly.
- Experience in transportation, logistics, manufacturing, or machinery is preferred but not required.
- Background in transportation, logistics, manufacturing, or machinery is helpful but not required.
- Bachelor's in marketing, communications, or a related field.
Additional Details:
- Role reports directly to the CEO.
- Martech tools include Salesforce (CRM), ZoomInfo, and agency support for SEO, web, and social media.
- In-office position based in either Fayetteville or Griffin, GA. Flexibility on hours can be discussed.
- Step up Marketing Manager candidates will be considered for the role.

Salary: starting $90,000 negotiable
