Dynamic Communications Coordinator Wanted: Help Shape Our Story and Engage our teams!
Join the largest Taco Bell franchisee in the world and home to other incredible food brands as our Communications Coordinator. In this pivotal role, you'll help shape and share our story across internal and external channels, creating engaging, on-brand content that connects with our employees, guests, and raving fans. You will also manage end-to-end communications ensuring consistent and clear messaging across internal platforms and the effectiveness of DRG employee programs and benefits. The Communications Department is the voice of the company. Thus, you'll be a part of major DRG events and celebrations, including restaurant grand openings, employee recognition trips, scholarship presentations, and more. MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Support the Communications Manager in managing the DRG Studios video initiative, including concept creation, scriptwriting, scheduling, filming, editing, and posting videos.
- Develop and distribute timely written communications each week, including the weekly newsletter, key announcements, and crisis response messages.
- Manage and own the company intranet myDRG, creating engaging posts and ensuring content is regularly updated. Help maintain a seamless and user-friendly experience for all employees.
- Help develop communication strategies and comprehensive plans for company initiatives. Build inter-departmental relationships and collaborate with key stakeholders to determine the most relevant messages for employees.
- Work alongside the marketing team in the creation of activations and events to promote DRG Taco Bell Cantinas and assets, partnering with organizations like the Vegas Golden Knights Hockey Team and Formula 1 Race.
- Analyze the effectiveness of communications using surveys and polls to gather employee feedback.
- Play a key role in the ongoing success of DRG campaigns, drawing insights from data and providing suggestions to improve.
- Drive fundraising for the DRG Cares program and Taco Bell Round Up, including creating contests and managing employee incentives and prize giveaways.
- Proactively identify and promote employee stories and achievements within newsletters, blog posts, and social media channels to foster a sense of community and recognition.
- Assist with various aspects of planning and coordinating DRG annual events, including content development, presentations, and logistical support.
- Demonstrate expertise in video editing to produce engaging videos featuring leadership and employees for internal communications, aimed at fostering unity across DRG.
- Assists in the creation and distribution of public relations materials, including memos, press releases, marketing collateral, and other communication documents.
- Create branding, logos, and messaging for new tools and initiatives, ensuring content resonates with DRG employees from the moment the tool is introduced.
- Continues to seek creative ways to reinforce company programs and tools throughout the year.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Proficiency in written communications, video editing and content creation.
- Strong interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments.
- Ability to produce engaging content for internal audiences.
- Skilled in design (creating branding materials, visuals, etc.) and video production.
- Skillful in Microsoft Office, and other communication tools.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- 2 to 4 years of experience in related field.
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Bachelor's degree in communications, journalism, marketing, or a related field preferred
