Amazon's Internal Corporate Communications team is seeking a Communications Manager to own content programming and channel optimization for internal newsletters content and digital signage channels. You'll drive day-to-day excellence in these channels while identifying opportunities for innovation and improvement. This role requires strong editorial judgment, data-driven decision making, and the ability to execute strategic initiatives across two key internal communications platforms.
Key job responsibilities
Channel Management
- Own daily operations of email newsletters and digital signage channels
- Execute content programming strategy aligned with your org objectives
- Drive quality standards and best practices across organizations and stakeholders
- Manage channel performance metrics and reporting
Content Programming
- Develop weekly and monthly channel-specific content calendars
- Identify channel-specific opportunities for proactive content creation for our newsletter and digital screens program
- Optimize content mix and timing
- Execute A/B testing to improve engagement
Audience & Performance
- Monitor and analyze channel metrics
- Implement audience targeting strategies
- Drive continuous improvement through testing
- Provide regular performance insights to stakeholders
Stakeholder Partnership
- Coordinate with Editorial, Events, and Business Partners on content needs
- Guide digital signage content submitters on best practices
- Partner with Design on visual assets
- Collaborate with Channel and Product teams on improvements
Project Management
- Lead channel-specific initiatives
- Manage content production timelines
- Coordinate cross-channel promotions
- Document processes and best practices
A day in the life
You'll own the day-to-day excellence of our email and digital signage channels while driving continuous improvement. Your morning might start with analyzing yesterday's email performance, followed by reviewing upcoming digital signage content. You'll coordinate with Editorial on next week's content calendar, run A/B tests on email templates, and work with stakeholders to optimize their content for each channel. Success in this role means consistently delivering high-quality content while finding ways to increase engagement and effectiveness.

Internal Corporate Communications operates as Amazon's central source for internal company news and events, reaching a global audience of corporate employees. Our team develops and delivers news, announcements, and strategic communications that help employees understand Amazon's business, culture, and workplace.
Basic Qualifications
- 3+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience
- Experience utilizing systems and tools involving email, web, analytics, and CRM (Marketo, Tableau, Salesforce, etc.) for targeting, segmentation, reporting for demand generation
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or related field
- Strong project management and organizational skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in fast-paced environment
- Bachelors degree or equivalent
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of digital communications best practices
- Experience with data analysis and reporting

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $72,600/year in our lowest geographic market up to $155,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
