- Provide all sustainability inputs and coordinate the collection of other ESG inputs for public disclosure obligations, annual CSR reporting, customer/industry questionnaires and internal communications to optimize enterprise-wide awareness and engagement
- Play an integral role in the sustainable product development process, providing support related to sustainable raw material sourcing, circularity and ESG marketing initiatives
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to support operational, sourcing and waste reduction improvements aligned with the company’s sustainability goals
- Develop internal and external sustainability communications, including employee newsletters and forums, product claims/messaging and brand website and social media content
- Support the company’s ESG regulatory readiness globally, including by working with cross-functional teams to develop, document and execute external disclosures and due diligence processes
- Conduct comprehensive research on ESG topics and benchmarking to proactively identify issues, risks and trends affecting the company and the fashion, luxury and retail industries
- Make brand- and company-appropriate recommendations to enhance ESG disclosures, practices and policies
- Represent Capri Holdings and its brands in external ESG organizations, initiatives and collaborations
- Manage ESG project budgets, schedules, action plans and resources, including certain administrative needs, with regular report outs to manager
You’ll need to have:
- 5+ years of experience within a team managing and advancing environmental sustainability programs and initiatives; ideally within the fashion, luxury or consumer product industries
- Outstanding project management skills and the ability to structure and manage multiple initiatives simultaneously to drive completion
- Demonstrated ability to think strategically balancing sustainability objectives with needs of the business and resources
- Strong Microsoft PowerPoint, analytics and organizational skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and an ability to communicate effectively with individuals at all levels of the global organization
- General understanding of fashion and key raw material supply chains
We’d Love to See:
