Dupont Creative is looking for a digital marketing intern to help us with tasks related to digital marketing and digital projects.
- This position is ideal for a student or recent graduate that wants experience in the field while going to school and will average around 12 hours/week (flexible)
- This is a paid internship: compensation is $18/hour
- This is an in-person job at our Washington DC-based office
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with marketing and advertising activities (e.g., social media, email newsletter, website, etc.)
- Video and photo editing
- Graphic creation
- Research competitor marketing and digital content
- Assist in entering and transferring data into WordPress
- Update and edit website content, posts, and pages
- Image/digital asset sourcing and resizing
- Format, upload, and add photography to websites
- Implement client feedback and edits to websites
- Support the team in daily administrative tasks
- Assist in the organization of digital content
- Execute social media engagement across platforms
- Conduct influencer research for specific clients
- Help out with company projects and general office activities
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or currently working towards a bachelor's degree in communications, marketing, graphic design, or a related field is preferred
- 0-2 years of office experience
- You have relevant internship experience or hands-on project experience within digital marketing (Bonus points for agency experience)
- Familiarity with major social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, etc.)
- Knowledge of and ability to navigate Macs, Microsoft Office and Google products
- The ability to manage multiple tasks and organize multiple projects
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Able to work both independently and collaboratively - you take the initiative and can self-direct in the absence of detailed guidelines
