Role Overview
As our Volunteer Digital Content Creator, you’ll craft engaging, on-brand visuals and copy that showcase TechPals’ impact and grow our online presence. You’ll work closely with our Marketing team to brainstorm, design, and schedule content—everything from social-media posts to short videos. Your creativity will help us reach more seniors and recruit passionate volunteers across the country.
Key Responsibilities
- Content Strategy & Planning: Collaborate on monthly content calendars aligned with our mission, events, and awareness days.
- Social Media Creation: Design graphics, write captions, and edit short videos for platforms like Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and LinkedIn.
- Blog & Newsletter Writing: Draft compelling blog posts, volunteer spotlights, and newsletter articles that tell TechPals’ story.
- Visual Asset Production: Use tools like Canva, Adobe Spark, or similar to produce engaging imagery, infographics, and templates.
- Scheduling & Analytics: Schedule posts via tools like Buffer or Hootsuite and track basic performance metrics to inform future content.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner virtually with volunteers, program leads, and the Marketing Coordinator to ensure consistency and accuracy.
