Job Description: Marketing Coordinator
Location: Southfield, Michigan
Position: Full-time/ hybrid (however local candidate is required due to some role key tasks)
Position Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Marketing Coordinator to join our team. This role will be pivotal in managing trade shows, events, and general marketing activities to enhance our brand presence and drive engagement. The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational skills, a creative mindset, and the ability to work collaboratively with global teams.
Key Responsibilities:
General Marketing
•Develop schedules for campaigns, events, webinars and communications
•Lead or coordinate video content, branding, and campaigns, incorporating team input as needed.
•Consolidate product updates, event information, and graphics for the monthly newsletter.
•Maintain up-to-date contact information within Salesforce and Constant Contact
•Manage content for social media
•Promote and manage webinars execution
•Manage the marketing budget with transparent communication.
•Assist with website content creation in collaboration with Elysium Japan as needed.
•Review and proofread materials from global offices before release or publication.
•Collaborate with customers on case studies and feature stories.
•Assist in generating helpful statistics through surveys.
•Coordinate with global divisions (Japan, Germany, and partners) to optimize marketing initiatives.
Event Planning
•Booth Coordination & Logistics: Manage booth inventory, setup, and transportation of marketing materials for 10–13 sponsored shows across the U.S. each year. This is a required part of the role and will involve additional in-office days beyond our standard hybrid schedule. Candidates must be able to physically pack and coordinate logistics for the booth items weighing between 10 and 75 lbs at our Southfield office.
•Presentation: Track and assign presentation abstract deadlines and submissions for sponsored shows, including those with limited participation.
•Staff Registration & Travel: Ensure all booth staff are registered and assist with travel and hotel accommodations.
•Promotional Items: Manage inventory, design, and ordering of promotional items, typically every 1–2 years.
•Digital Booth Submissions: Manage the collection, creation, and coordination of required materials for digital booths at 12–14 shows per year. This may involve producing event-specific short videos or graphics and collaborating with our global team in Japan
•Post event: download leads and assign follow-up tasks.
•Event Task Management: Create, execute, and follow up on event-related tasks for the team using Asana.
•Event Execution: Plan and execute annual Elysium Summit and other hosted events.
•Product Branding: Design and implement updated booth backdrop graphics.
Qualifications:
•Must be local
•4-year degree in Marketing or equivalent experience required in a similar role. Event management experience is preferred
•4 years’ experience in content creation, including technical video production, branding, and marketing campaigns.
•Strong organizational and multitasking skills with experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.
•Strong understanding of marketing principles, digital marketing strategies, and traditional marketing techniques
•Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
•Proficiency in marketing software and tools (e.g., Asana, Salesforce, Constant Contact).
•Experience collaborating with global teams is preferred.
•Creative mindset with attention to detail.
