We are opening our first internship class and seeking a creative, organized, and proactive Digital Marketing & Content Intern Intern to help amplify our brand and client stories across digital platforms. This role is perfect for someone eager to learn digital marketing, content scheduling, and audience engagement, while contributing to campaigns that will be seen by real-world audiences.
Location: Hybrid (NYC-based — combination of in-office collaboration and remote work)
Commitment: Part-time (flexible schedule — 2-3 days/week)
Duration: Fall/Winter Internship (3 months, ~ mid-September - mid December)
Compensation: $2,500 total educational stipend across the duration of the internship (paid in installments) to help offset living and transportation expenses. This stipend is not wages and is provided in connection with an unpaid educational program.
About the Internship Program
This is the first intern class we are opening at MarkMedia: a structured, educational program designed for students or early-career creatives who want to build professional-level editing skills in a hands-on learning environment. You’ll join at an exciting time in our growth.
The program is built so that you are the primary beneficiary - every assignment is tied to specific learning goals, with one-on-one mentorship and feedback from our senior team. This is not a job, and there is no expectation of paid employment at the end of the internship. The stipend is intended solely to help offset personal expenses while you participate in this learning experience.
About the Role
As a Website/Social Media Intern at MarkMedia, you’ll help shape and share our brand story across our website, social channels, and potentially our newsletter. You’ll work with photo and video assetsto turn past and current client projects into engaging, platform-ready posts that build brand visibility and credibility. You’ll play an active role in building out the voice of MarkMedia online, ensuring our messaging is consistent, clear, and compelling across every touchpoint. This role is ideal for someone with an interest in marketing who wants hands-on experience creating and refining content in a creative agency environment, connecting directly with audiences and seeing how consistent storytelling drives engagement. You’ll gain insight into how brand strategy, content creation, and audience interaction work together to grow a business in the real world.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, schedule, and post content across LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube
- Update and maintain website portfolio and blog content
- Repurpose video/photo assets into platform-specific formats
- Write engaging captions and post copy aligned with brand tone
- Track analytics and recommend adjustments to posting strategies
- Collaborate with editors, photographers, and videographers to plan content drops
