We are looking for a creative, organized, and strategic Social Media Manager to oversee and grow our presence across three key social media handles. This role requires strong copywriting skills, a deep understanding of social media trends, and the ability to manage timelines and content calendars efficiently. The ideal candidate will also lead the creation of social media best practices and contribute to CRM by writing a weekly newsletter that nurtures our audience and strengthens community engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
Social Media Strategy & Management:
- Manage and maintain daily activity across three social media accounts, ensuring a consistent brand voice and messaging.
- Develop and implement a strategic content calendar aligned with brand goals and campaign timelines.
- Ensure all posts, stories, and campaigns are delivered on time and meet creative and performance standards.
- Monitor analytics and platform insights to optimize content and increase engagement.
- High attention to detail for all posts especially paid posts.
- Work closely with Community Manager to create community strategy and overall support.
Content Creation & Copywriting:
- Write clear, engaging, and on-brand copy for social media posts, captions, and multimedia content.
- Collaborate with internal teams to produce compelling visual assets and creative content.
- Repurpose content effectively across multiple platforms to expand reach and improve performance.
Best Practices & Optimization:
- Develop, document, and maintain social media best practices for consistency and effectiveness.
- Stay up-to-date with platform updates, algorithm changes, and emerging social media trends.
- Continuously test and optimize post formats, timing, and messaging for improved results.
CRM & Newsletter:
- Write and publish a high-quality weekly newsletter using Substack as part of the company’s CRM strategy.
- Curate relevant content, updates, and stories that strengthen customer relationships and provide value to subscribers.
- Track newsletter performance metrics (open rate, click-through rate, etc.) and make data-driven improvements.
Qualifications:
- 2–4 years of experience in social media management, digital content creation, or marketing communications.
- Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills with attention to tone, voice, and detail.
- Proficiency with social media management tools (e.g., Later, Hootsuite, Sprout Social).
- Experience with CRM and email marketing platforms (e.g., Mailchimp, Substack, HubSpot).
- Solid understanding of content strategy, audience engagement, and community building.
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to multitask effectively.
Nice to have:
- Basic design or video editing experience using tools like Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or CapCut.
- Familiarity with SEO and long-form content development (blogs, thought leadership).
- Experience growing and segmenting an email list or CRM audience.
