HR Administrative Assistant
The HR Administrative Assistant provides essential support to the Human Resources team and the broader Corporate Operations group. This role keeps our employee records organized, ensures accurate and timely data entry in ApplicantPro and iSolved, and supports core HR processes, communication efforts, and employee engagement activities.
PLEASE NOTE: This is an on-site position and is not eligible for remote work.
Primary Responsibilities
- Conduct approximately five structured behavioral interviews daily, following established scoring guidelines.
- Maintain accurate personnel files and digital records; upload annual reviews, corrective actions, documented occurrences, and other employee documents into iSolved/ApplicantPro.
- Assist with timekeeping in iSolved, including monitoring missing punches and routing corrections to supervisors.
- Obtain, record, and maintain benefits enrollment documentation; send updates to benefits providers as needed.
- Prepare and process standard HR paperwork, forms, and correspondence.
- Maintain updated company directories, contact lists, and internal reference documents.
- Process new hires, separations, and other employee changes within iSolved and ApplicantPro.
- Assist with safety and compliance activities, including maintaining documentation and supporting reporting needs.
- Support Talent Acquisition by coordinating interviews, greeting candidates, and managing interview flow.
- Assist with onboarding, including creating personnel and DOT files, tracking required documents, and preparing materials for new hire orientation.
- Help create the monthly company newsletter (transitioning from MS Publisher to the Share & Perform module in iSolved).
- Contribute to planning and coordinating employee events and engagement activities, including recognition events, service milestones, holiday activities, and other company programs.
- Participate in ongoing training to maintain and expand HR knowledge.
Knowledge and Skill Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- At least 1 year of experience supporting HR or a related administrative function.
- Familiarity with regulatory bodies such as DOT, OSHA, FDA, EPA, etc. is preferred.
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in all work.
