About the Role
We’re hiring an Email Marketing Manager to own campaign and newsletter programs for prospects and customers. This contract role (40 hrs/week) is perfect for someone who thrives on building, testing, and launching email campaigns while keeping calendars, deadlines, and cross-team collaboration on track.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and send campaigns/newsletters for prospects and customers
- Partner with design, analytics, and marketing teams to deliver high-quality emails
- Manage the email calendar and coordinate timelines
- Edit and troubleshoot HTML/CSS in email templates
- Segment lists for accurate targeting
- Track and report performance metrics (open, click, conversion)
- Run A/B tests and recommend improvements
- Ensure compliance with CAN-SPAM, GDPR, and best practices
- Support lifecycle/nurture flows when needed
Must-Have Qualifications
- 3+ years of hands-on email marketing experience (B2B or SaaS preferred)
- Proficiency with automation platforms — Marketo required (Inflection, Customer.io, Braze a plus)
- Ability to build, QA, and deploy emails end-to-end
- HTML/CSS skills for editing and troubleshooting
- Strong project management with multiple sends/calendars
- Independent contractor mindset with cross-functional collaboration skills
Preferred Skills
- Experience designing email templates in Figma
- Knowledge of deliverability, accessibility, and email design best practices
- Exposure to lifecycle programs (onboarding, nurture flows)
