About the Role
The Director of Marketing and Growth owns the marketing and growthof The Dink’s robust digital ecosystem spanning newsletter, website, social and audio/video, as well as owned and partnership events. You are responsible for developing and growing The Dink brand, leading and managing strategic partnerships, overseeing event marketing and driving growth across all channels.
This is a unique opportunity to lead the creative strategy, development and growth of a flagship media brand at the center of the fastest growing sport in the world.
What You’ll Own
- Lead our marketing, content, and creative strategies to drive awareness, reach and development of The Dink brand
- Spearhead content marketing strategies based on business objectives, audience engagement metrics and growth targets across newsletter, social, web, YouTube and podcasts
- Create and deploy marketing campaigns, leverage data and analytics to optimize and iterate, and oversee execution to drive successful outcomes
- Own growth across all channels, developing and deploying strategies to increase key metrics like subscribers, CTR, web visits, YouTube views, conversions and more
- Oversee creative, copy and brand voice and tone across all content, projects and campaigns
- Manage partnerships team and oversee the development and execution of high-performing media and event campaigns and integrations
- Plan and manage campaign timelines, milestones, deliverables, and organization across multiple media channels
What We’re Looking For
- 8+ years of experience in digital marketing, media and content
- Previous experience in project management, with the ability to plan, delegate and ensure flawless execution of multiple projects simultaneously
- Deep understanding of key marketing metrics and KPIs (CTR, CPC, open rate, engagement rate, CPA, ROAS, LTV, etc.) with a track record of crafting data-driven campaigns to hit targets
- Proven experience leading the creation and production of innovative creative and high-performing copy
- Ability to create and design assets and write high-performing copy when necessary
- Someone who is scrappy, takes initiative, problem solves and doesn’t hesitate to be hands-on when required
- Demonstrated ability to operate under tight deadlines
Nice To Have
- Experience in sports, media, or pickleball
- Experience in publishing and video production
