The Marketing Specialist is responsible for developing, implementing, and managing the company’s marketing strategies across multiple channels.
This role requires creativity, strategic thinking, and executional excellence to drive brand awareness, support sales initiatives, and strengthen customer engagement. Beyond traditional marketing duties, this position manages cross-functional projects including event planning, vendor relations, recruiting marketing support, and internal initiatives that directly support business growth, retention, and operational efficiency.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Marketing Strategy & Campaigns
- Develop and execute comprehensive marketing campaigns across digital, print, radio, and traditional channels.
- Collaborate with leadership to align marketing initiatives with overall business goals.
- Research and analyze market trends, customer insights, and competitor activities to identify opportunities and potential risks.
- Lead public relations efforts, brand recognition initiatives, and external visibility opportunities.
Content Creation & Brand Management
- Create all company graphics, flyers, videos, digital assets, and promotional materials.
- Develop blogs and written content for website use; provide all content for company newsletters including job postings, subscriber updates, and performance highlights.
- Maintain consistent brand voice, messaging, and visual identity across all platforms and communications.
Digital Marketing & Analytics
- Oversee social media accounts by planning, scheduling, publishing, and monitoring engagement and growth.
- Manage and track SEO campaign performance in collaboration with external vendors; provide reporting and insights to leadership.
- Plan, launch, and manage online reputation initiatives, including Google review-building programs and competitions.
- Track and manage Google Business Profiles, monitoring engagement, accuracy, and customer interactions.
- Monitor, measure, and analyze campaign effectiveness using analytics tools; prepare reports and insights for leadership review.
Events & Community Engagement
- Plan, coordinate, and execute company events including client appreciation outings, golf tournaments, job fairs, sponsorships, and internal company events.
- Manage event budgets, timelines, logistics, vendor coordination, and promotional materials from planning through execution.
- Design, budget, and assemble bi-monthly promotional drop-offs and branded materials for the sales team.
- Launch and oversee employee and associate recognition programs, including temp-to-perm celebrations, milestone recognition, certificates, and internal acknowledgements.
- Coordinate employee and client gifting initiatives such as holiday cakes, welcome boxes, and appreciation items.
Collaboration, Recruiting & Sales Support
- Manage weekly job postings for both proactive and reactive recruiting needs, ensuring postings are marketable, brand-aligned, and optimized for visibility.
- Work closely with the sales team to provide branded materials, promotional items, and tools that support client engagement and business development.
- Ensure all marketing and operational support initiatives directly enhance client acquisition, employee retention, and customer satisfaction.
- Collect and organize client information including case studies, testimonials, references, programs, and relevant data to support marketing campaigns, proposal responses, and targeted client outreach.
Vendor & Operations Management
- Oversee vendor relationships including website management, newsletter distribution platforms, SEO providers, radio advertising partners, and promotional vendors.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for external partners and suppliers related to marketing, events, and promotional initiatives.
Qualifications
- 2–5 years of marketing experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or a related field of study
- Excellent writing, communication, and organizational skills
