Overview
We’re hiring an Associate Account Executive to help grow both Superhuman AI and The Code, two fast-growing newsletters read by builders, operators, and technical decision-makers. This role spans both brands — AEs aren’t boxed into a single vertical and are expected to think broadly about how advertisers show up across our ecosystem.
This is a pure outbound sales role at a fast-moving startup. You’ll prospect aggressively, test messaging, learn fast, and figure things out as you go. Scrappiness, ownership, and comfort with ambiguity are non-negotiable. You’ll be selling a proven, high-demand media product with clear value to advertisers. At least 1 year of experience in outbound sales or agency-facing relationship roles is required, with comfort navigating media buys, client priorities, and ongoing partnerships.
Bonus: you are someone who can build relationships with agencies, understand their clients’ marketing goals, and confidently sell newsletter inventory across both brands.
What you’ll do:
- Sell ad inventory for the Superhuman AI newsletter.
- Create sales funnels to sell the ad inventory.
- Generate sponsorship leads for the ad inventory.
- Learn navigate agency-led relationships
- Convert leads and generate payments from the sponsors.
- Report to the team on performance and key metrics set by the team.
- Answer questions the team has about the sales process and sponsors it brought.
- Attend one to two 30 minute calls each week to discuss performance and tasks.
- Handle any sales related tasks that are not covered in the list above.
What You'll Bring
- A real love for Superhuman’s newsletters and audience — you read it, get it, and care deeply about protecting and growing the brand.
- At least 1 year of experience in outbound sales or agency-facing relationship roles is required
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Coachable mindset with a strong desire to learn and improve
- Collaborative approach, where you work closely with the Account Management team and leadership as well.
- Familiarity with sales tools like Pipedrive, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Apollo, or Smartleads is a plus
- Existing industry experience is great but what truly matters is the hunger to excel, integrity and a hustler work ethic.
- Interest in tech, AI or developer/coding space strongly preferred
COMPENSATION $100,000 - $110,000 base depending on experience *Final offers for this job will be made within the parameters of the salary range provided. Total offer package to include benefits highlighted under our perks section below.
