Location: Austin, Texas (On-site shadowing required)
Who We Are: Zenus AI is a fast-growing startup working with massive brands like Dell, Medtronic, Google, and Meta. We build ethical facial analysis tech that helps events and retailers understand how people behave in their spaces.
The Role: We are looking for a scrappy, hyper-organized "right hand" to the CEO. You don’t need to be an expert in AI or sales. You need to be the type of person who gets things done.
Your job is to handle the details so the CEO can focus on the big picture. If you have worked at an agency or in a project coordinator role, you know exactly what this is: Dealing with timelines, checking details, and moving projects forward.
What You’ll Actually Do:
The Scoping:
- When a client wants a quote, you’ll take our template, look at their floor plan, and draft the pricing. (Don’t worry, we’ll teach you the math, but you need to be detail-oriented enough to catch typos).
The "Shadow":
- Sit in on meetings with the CEO. Take notes. Write the follow-up email. Make sure nothing falls through the cracks.
The Partnerships:
- We have partners who need regular attention. You’ll make sure our monthly newsletter goes out on time and help schedule joint webinars so we stay top-of-mind.
The Paperwork (That actually matters):
- We have big clients, which means big forms (security questionnaires, vendor registrations, etc.). You will own these. You’ll figure out what they need, fill them out, and get us approved so we can start the work.
Who You Are:
- You have ~2-4 years of work experience. Maybe you were an Account Coordinator at an ad agency, or you managed projects at a frantic small business.
- You are not "too good" for the small stuff. You are happy to clean up data in our CRM (Pipedrive) or chase a signature on a contract because you know it helps the team win.
- You are tech-savvy. You can jump between Slack, Google Sheets, and a CRM without getting overwhelmed.
- You live in Austin. You need to be in the office with the CEO for the first few months to download his brain.
Why This is a Great Gig:
- Learn from the Founder: You will see exactly how a tech CEO builds a company, negotiates deals, and solves problems.
- Growth: This is a contract role to start, but if you crush it, we want you on the team full-time with equity (stock options).
Contract Details:
- Structure: Up to 40 hours/week. Monthly invoicing.
- Compensation: $30 – $40 per hour (based on experience).
- Conversion: A performance review will be conducted at the 90-day mark to discuss conversion to a full-time employee with benefits and equity participation.
How to Apply: Send us your resume and a quick note about the most chaotic project you’ve ever managed (and how you kept it on track).
