Celtic Bank, one of the top small and mid-market business lenders in the country, is looking for an experienced copywriter to join our marketing team. As the only copywriter on the team, you will be a highly-valued member of our small, agile creative team. You will have a hand in planning, researching, and writing high value content that both delights and educates our business customers and partners. This will include both editorial and direct response copy in different formats and across various mediums.
Essential Job Functions
- Write high-impact copy for flyers, brochures, ads, emails, social media
- Understand storytelling and how to bring a borrower and partner experience to life
- Lead the quarterly company newsletter publication
- Collaborate with design on new visual ideas
- Learn and help further develop the Bank's brand voice
- Contribute to creative brainstorms and share ideas proactively
Requirements
WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO DO IT
- A diverse writing portfolio that demonstrates skills across multiple formats
- Careful attention to detail and proficiency in copyediting and proofreading
- Familiarity with or understanding of commercial loan products
- Bachelor's degree in English, journalism, communications or related field
- Experience in writing about financial services, financial technology or other regulated industry preferred

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
