And that's what this is. Our website tells that story. Those campaigns are what you'll be editing. Our need to grow our editing team is now. We've usually kept this pretty close to our chest but because of our growth, we need to add more players to our team.
Your portfolio from your social media profiles or personal website is a MUST. All candidates will be qualified according to those assets.
Role Description
This is a role for a Content Editor (Video & Photo) at Wedge Golf Company. The Content Editor will be responsible for curating, managing, and editing digital content, specifically focusing on multimedia assets such as videos and photos. Day-to-day tasks include creating and optimizing content, ensuring alignment with the company’s creative vision, and collaborating closely with the creative and marketing teams. The role requires meticulous attention to detail and a strong sense of storytelling through visual and written mediums. Most content produced needs to be edited for website, PDP, social media, and other digital outlets.
Qualifications
- First and foremost will be your portfolio, from your own website or social media profile.
- Strong skills in Content Management and Editorial processes, with the ability to oversee multimedia projects from start to finish
- Proficiency in Web Content Writing and Writing, with an understanding of crafting compelling narratives
- Capability in conducting Research to align content with audience preferences and trends
- Attention to detail and organizational skills to ensure quality control and adherence to project deadlines
- Familiarity with digital media tools and platforms for editing photo and video content
- Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with cross-functional teams
- Previous experience in content editing or multimedia work is preferred
- Understanding of golf-related communities or the sports industry is a bonus
