About Us
We are a multi-office law firm in Las Vegas with a strong foundation in mission, values, SOPs, paid ads, website, and local SEO/Maps. We’re expanding and building toward opening an office in jurisdictions outside of Las Vegas. We’re looking for a marketing leader who can execute and also represent the firm in the community—someone who can turn our database and local presence into a measurable referral and reputation engine.
Role Objective
Own and operate the firm’s database-driven marketing, reputation/awards strategy, and community partnership presence so that our brand stays top-of-mind, referrals increase, and our local credibility grows across Las Vegas now and in other jurisdictions in the future.
This is not an SEO/paid-ads/web-dev role. We already have those functions covered. This role is about marketing execution + community-facing representation + measurable outcomes.
Key Responsibilities1) Database Marketing: Email + SMS Campaigns
- Design and execute segmented campaigns for:
- former clients (referrals, reactivation, firm updates)
- current clients (appropriate updates and education without interfering with active matters)
- referral partners (attorneys, professionals, community partners)
- Build and maintain segmentation/tags and campaign calendars.
- Draft copy, QA campaigns, schedule sends, and report results.
- Establish a consistent cadence (newsletter + targeted sequences).
2) Referral Engine: Make Referrals Systematic
- Implement a formal referral protocol and communication cadence:
- post-matter follow-ups
- review requests and reputation-building flows
- referral asks and thank-you systems
- Work with internal teams to ensure referrals are captured and tracked consistently (intake/source tracking loop).
3) Reputation Management + Awards/Nominations
- Own our “social proof” pipeline:
- free/low-cost awards and nominations
- pay-to-play opportunities (evaluated for ROI and brand fit)
- local awards (e.g., Best of Las Vegas and comparable community programs)
- Monitor and manage secondary reputation platforms (e.g., Yelp and other local listing/rating sites).
- Create and maintain an annual awards calendar with deadlines and submissions.
4) Community Partnerships + Networking Representation
- Identify and secure local marketing opportunities:
- chambers, networking groups, sponsorships, community partnerships, speaking opportunities
- Represent the firm at events on our behalf (including evenings/weekends as needed).
- Build and maintain relationships with key referral partners and community stakeholders.
- Ensure fast, consistent follow-up and tracking from events and introductions.
5) Brand Collateral & Messaging Consistency
- Update and maintain:
- elevator pitches and “why us” messaging
- print materials and basic collateral for events
- Keep messaging aligned with firm values and SOPs.
6) Expansion Support
- Build the marketing/community roadmap for other jurisdictions as we grow:
- early relationship map (chambers, sponsorships, partner categories)
- launch communications plan using our database
- event presence plan leading up to opening
What Success Looks Like (First 90 Days)
- A 90-day marketing + community calendar executed consistently
- Newsletter template built and sending on schedule
- At least 2–3 segmented campaigns/sequences live (former clients, partners, etc.)
- Awards/nominations tracker created with submissions underway
- Reputation monitoring cadence running (responses and review flow in place)
- Community event representation working with measurable follow-up and ROI tracking
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years in marketing with demonstrated execution (not just strategy), ideally in a professional services setting
- Proven experience building and running segmented email campaigns and marketing calendars
- Strong copywriting ability (clear, professional, persuasive without being “salesy”)
- Strong project management and follow-through (cadence is everything in this role)
- Comfortable being the face of the firm at events, networking, chambers, and community functions
- Data-minded: can measure campaign performance and track outcomes (referrals, reviews, engagement, event ROI)
- High integrity and good judgment (legal industry communications require care)
Nice to have
- Experience in law firms, high-end service businesses, real estate, or hospitality (relationship-driven marketing)
- Familiarity with Lawmatics, MyCase, CRMs, and review/listing ecosystems
Work Style & Expectations
- You will attend events evenings and weekends as part of your role (planned in advance whenever possible).
- You will be expected to operate with ownership: plan → execute → report → improve.
- You’ll collaborate with leadership and internal teams, but you will own the marketing execution in your lanes.
