- Follow all HPSI safety procedures, rules, and regulations.
- Draft, edit, and distribute internal communications across multiple channels.
- Develop written copy to support organizational messaging and initiatives.
- Assist in creating and editing announcements, talking points, and leadership messages.
- Support content development for internal platforms, including the intranet, email, digital signage, and bulletin boards.
- Help coordinate and track internal communications campaigns related to safety, workforce initiatives, events, and company updates.
- Proofread content to ensure accuracy, clarity, consistency in tone, and alignment with branding standards.
- Contribute articles to the internal monthly newsletter.
- Assist in developing copy and organizing files to build intranet pages for corporate functions.
- Provide ad hoc communications support as needed.

- Creativity & Visual Storytelling: Contributes ideas for engaging content; comfort with photography, videography, or simple design tools (e.g., Canva) is a plus.
- Interpersonal Skills: Builds positive relationships with colleagues across all levels and functions.
- Problem-Solving: Approaches challenges with a solutions-oriented mindset and a willingness to learn.
Education And Experience
- Rising Junior or Senior currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Communications or Marketing.
- Minimum GPA: 3.0
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Attention to detail and ability to proofread content accurately
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, industrial environment.
- S. work authorization required — no sponsorship available
WORK ENVIRONMENT
Environmental exposures are similar to those found in most heavy industrial settings and may include noise, heat, cold, vibration, dust, fumes and smoke. Work may be executed indoors or outdoors and may involve exposure to inclement weather conditions.

This is an on-site, full-time, safety-sensitive position. Standard days and hours of work vary by department, days and hours determined by department schedules.
