Job Description
We’re looking for a hands-on, creative communicator who is energized by a fast-paced, internal newsroom-style environment. The ideal candidate brings strong digital content creation skills, including producing, shooting, and editing video; editing audio; and creating and manipulating graphics, paired with a solid communications foundation. This role also supports content management, writing and editing internal communications, and day-to-day administrative needs for the Internal Communications team—helping bring stories to life that inform, engage, and connect our employees
Responsibilities:
- Lead all phases of video production (pre‑production, production, and post‑production) for internal communications platforms.
- Produce and edit internal videos using Adobe Premiere and After Effects, including employee interviews, event recaps, sizzle reels, and more.
- Design digital graphic assets in Photoshop and Canva for use across internal channels.
- Manage and update digital signage content in the daily rotation at Telemundo Center.
- Collaborate with multiple departments or stakeholders to source stories and produce the weekly employee newsletter.
- Support the ideation, planning and execution of employee events and activations, both virtual and in person, at Telemundo Center.
- Maintain and create content for the employee intranet, including business updates, photo galleries, and written employee interviews.
- Manage community engagement and content creation for our internal social network, Viva Engage—this includes developing ideas for virtual contests and concepts and creation of accompanying graphic assets.
- Support executive communications initiatives, such as the chairman’s town hall, with visual content as needed (photography, graphics and/or video creation). Additional support as assigned.
- Track department expenses and maintain the metrics dashboard for internal communication channels.

Qualifications

Basic Requirements:
- Experienced communications professional with a strong passion for content creation.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish (spoken and written) — required.
- Proficient in Adobe Premiere, After Effects, Photoshop, and Canva.
- Proficient in Microsoft 365 tools, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Viva Engage, Copilot, and Teams.
- Strong writing skills required; familiarity with AP Style is a plus.
- Prior experience in internal communications preferred.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the emotional intelligence to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Detail-oriented and deadline-driven.
- Familiarity with content management systems (e.g., WordPress, AppSpace) is a plus.
- Experience with email marketing platforms preferred but not required.
- Experience with photography and videography required.
- Knowledge of AI Tools such as Adobe Firefly, ChatGPT, Copilot, Clipchamp, etc
Additional Requirements:
- Hybrid: This position currently has a hybrid schedule, which requires contributing from the office a minimum of four days per week. The Company reserves the right to change in-office requirements at any time.
