Twin Cities public relations agency Bellmont Partners, winner of multiple “Best Places to Work” awards, is seeking an Account Supervisor to add to our growing Health practice group. We’re looking for a strong B2B communicator with approximately seven to ten years of experience who is passionate about leading accounts and implementing PR initiatives for clients in the health industry, including med-tech and medical device companies.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Day-to-day responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
Account Team Leadership and Support – 80%
- Serve as the lead on approximately two to three small to mid-sized accounts within the Health practice group, driving the implementation of high-quality deliverables in a timely, strategic manner.
- Support two or more large accounts as well as project work, primarily within the Health practice group.
- Develop forward-thinking strategies and plans, confidently working with internal leaders and clients to chart new paths forward.
- Drive the execution of plans; this could include leading internal and external meetings, making assignments to internal teams, proactively gauging internal progress or challenges, communicating progress to clients, offering day-to-day support to clients and internal teams, reviewing deliverables with both quality and client strategy in mind, driving results that align with client objectives, managing budgets and allocations, and compiling contracts and invoices.
- Present ideas and recommendations to clients, advising on all areas of our scope of work.
- Develop and implement deliverables that are high-quality and on-strategy; draft and finalize materials in areas such as earned media (e.g., media pitches, news releases, media kit materials, etc.), thought leadership (e.g., bylined articles, award and speaking nominations, etc.), owned media (e.g., social media posts, website copy, blog posts, newsletter copy, marketing collateral, etc.) and occasionally paid media (e.g., ad copy or scripts, paid social media posts, sponsored articles, etc.); as well as help lead and coordinate any client involvement in special events (e.g., trade shows, client events, etc.) as needed.
- Account Supervisors may also be expected to complete the following tasks depending on the account size and, as needed, may be called upon to help coach junior team members as they support this work: conduct client research, including developing media lists, interviewing subject matter experts, etc.; develop and update client status reports, content calendars, budget trackers, meeting agendas or other account management materials; monitor for client coverage on multiple platforms; other tasks that help deliver on client plans.
Business Development and Agency Marketing – 10%
- Help identify opportunities for organic client growth by understanding clients’ strategies and needs and recommending additional solutions to help achieve their goals.
- Assist in new business efforts, including helping maintain information in internal files and databases, conducting research on new prospects, drafting case studies, and participating in internal brainstorms.
- Contribute to or lead efforts to develop new business proposals and presentations.
- Participate in new business meetings or presentations with prospects.
- Contribute to agency marketing initiatives and content creation.
- Work to establish, maintain and expand professional network.
Professional Development/Operations/Administrative/Paid Volunteer Time – 10%
- Work with manager to establish individual professional development goals that align with the agency’s overall annual goals and your areas of interest; make consistent progress toward goals through professional development events and resources, seeking out additional projects to flex new skills.
- Participate in staff meetings, one-on-one check-ins with manager, and other agency meetings and events.
- Complete personal administrative tasks in a timely manner, including time entry, expense reports, etc.
- If interested, seek out volunteer opportunities that align with personal and professional goals and areas of interest, using Bellmont Gives Back hours (paid volunteer time).

- Salary range: $90,000 to $105,000 DOE
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in communications, journalism or related field, or equivalent experience
- Seven to ten years of experience in the communications field, with a strong focus on account management, client service, media relations and content development within the health, med-tech and/or medical device fields
- Past PR agency experience is preferred
- Based in or able to relocate to Minnesota
