Position Overview:
Under the general direction of the Employee Engagement and Program Manager, the HR Coordinator will support various HR functions including new hire onboarding, employee engagement events and programs, employee surveys, rewards and recognition, and employee development activities. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively across departments. As such, you will be expected to act as a Redwood brand ambassador, promote our brand and provide the best employee and resident experience possible. In addition, all Redwood employees are expected to conduct all organizational business and practices in accordance with Redwood company policies.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Coordinate Corporate new hire onboarding, including scheduling, apparel ordering, first‑day presentations, and seating arrangements to ensure a smooth and welcoming experience.
- Manage uniform and welcome gift ordering for Service Technicians and t-shirt ordering for Seasonal Service Technicians, including inventory tracking and vendor coordination.
- Coordinate the annual employee apparel stipend reload.
- Administer the New Hire Neighbor program by coordinating neighbor assignments and conducting regular check‑ins to support successful onboarding and engagement.
- Maintain onboarding process documentation, timelines, and checklists to ensure consistency and scalability across the organization.
- Support the Employee Engagement Manager to identify onboarding gaps and recommend experience improvements.
- Maintain and regularly update the HR SharePoint page to ensureaccurate,timely, and accessible content.
- Administer theWorkTangorecognition platform, including reward approval and fulfillment, incentive approvals, manager tier updates, special recognition, and other activities supporting overall platform functionality.
- Partner with the Employee Engagement Manager to analyze participation andutilizationdata forWorkTangoandotherengagement programs and support continuous improvement efforts.
- Manage the Rock Starand All-Starrecognition program, including reviewing monthly nominations, coordinating winnerselectionand notifications,and promotion through internal and external channels.
- Plan and organize employee engagement events such as Bring Your Child to Work Day, Employee Appreciation Month activities, seasonal events, quarterly initiatives, and ad hoc events as needed.
- Assist with benchmarking recognition and engagement practices against industry best practices, when necessary, and in support to the Employee Engagement Manager.
- Collect, coordinate, and provide HR‑related content from all functional areas to Marketing for inclusion in the employee newsletter.
- Manage the Uber Eats program, including annual voucher setup and onboarding new hires into the program.
- Support New Hire Survey follow‑up by addressing feedback directly, triaging feedback and resolving issues.
- When necessary, assist with administration of additional employee engagement and feedback surveys, including survey setup, communications, and reporting support.
- Support the development and maintenance of an annual employee engagement calendar aligned with organizational priorities such as Operations program calendar.
- Support employee learning and development initiatives by coordinating program logistics including venue and hotel bookings, meal ordering, and preparation of workshop materials.
- Track participation, completion, and feedback for RedwoodU or Percipio programs and provide regular reporting to the Organizational Development Manager.
- Support annual performance review activities, including creating leader surveys.
- Serve as the primary contact and moderator for RedwoodU workshops and courses, ensuring smooth execution and engagement.
- Review and update RedwoodU learning pathways for corporate roles as needed to maintain relevance and alignment with organizational goals.
- Perform other duties as assigned in support of the HR team and organizational initiatives.

Required Qualifications:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

- Experience supporting HR programs, employee engagement initiatives, or learning platforms preferred.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field, or 1–2 years of experience.
- Previous experience in HR coordination or related roles preferred.
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to use standard office equipment such as computers, desk phones, cell phones, photocopiers, etc.
- Must be able to navigate stairs occasionally, particularlyin the event ofelevator outages or during emergency situations.
- Must be able to sit for extended periods of time, stand, bend, and walk with the ability to lift 30 pounds occasionally.
Attendance and Scheduling:
- Punctuality and consistent attendance are essential for success in this role, and employees must adhere to set start times and assigned schedules.
- Occasional travel may be required for team outings, training sessions, or company-sponsored events, estimated at less than 5% annually.
Work Environment:
- Job is performed in a professional office environment.
- Exposure to varying indoor temperatures depending on location in the building and season.
- Combination of natural daylight and standard office lighting throughout the workspace.
- Movement across multiple flooring types, including tile, carpet, and other transitions.
- An open workspace layout, defined by a shared space without traditional enclosed offices or high-walled cubicles, may introduce distractions or reduce privacy.
