This position requires a highly professional individual to serve as the principal administrative assistant to, and primary contact for the Executive Director. This individual must be able to manage multiple priorities in a structured, deadline-driven environment, while exhibiting the utmost discretion and judgment.
- Provide executive-level administrative support, including scheduling, correspondence, travel logistics, and document preparation.
- Manage NMCRA Board agenda process and required follow-up, including but not limited to preparation of minutes.
- Conduct research and analysis as directed by the Executive Director.
- Brief weekly with the Executive Director.
- Liaise closely with NMCRA’s Communications consultant on communications matters including the production of the newsletter.
- Liaise with City departments and other agencies on behalf of the Executive Director.
- Responsible for preparing public records request responses.
- Spearhead grantee groundbreakings and grand openings, and other NMCRA functions.
- Maintain quality filing and communications systems, including contact management, document management, and archiving.
- Attend meetings with the Executive Director as needed.
- Process invoices as needed.
- Perform general administrative duties as assigned by the Executive Director.
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
- 3-5 years' administrative experience, preferably in the public sector.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite with cloud-based collaboration tools.
- Valid Florida Driver’s Licen

- Bilingual preferred but not required – Spanish or Haitian Creole
