Reporting To The Provost And Senior Vice President For Academic Affairs The Administrative Coordinator Will, In Addition To The Overview Functions Listed Below
- Coordinate the communications needs of the Office of the Provost, including the aggregation, editing, and distribution of a biweekly newsletter, updates to Provost webpages and SharePoint sites, production and management of event invitations and RSVPs.
- Support special projects undertaken by the Office of the Provost including those related to strategic planning and advancement of ethical use of artificial intelligence
- Prepare reports for presentation by the Provost at faculty senate, College cabinet, and other venues
- Support the operational needs of the unit by providing in-person front-desk support Monday -Friday, with the possibility of remote work on alternate Fridays.
- Assist with procurement processing if needed.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, English, Business or related fields.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills and advanced facility with MS 365 products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Experience with WordPress, MS Lists, Power BI, Canva or similar, advanced degree in a relevant discipline (eg higher education, communications, etc.).

- Updates office databases, lists, and files to ensure completeness and accuracy; maintains current information on department web site(s); maintains department archives and collections.
- Conducts internet and/or database research and performs basic systems queries to locate information related to department activities.
- Maintains department fiscal plans and budgets; assists in budget administration and invoice processing.
- Provides basic information, instructions, and materials as requested by students, faculty, and others who contact the department.
- May supervise office staff and student workers.
- Performs related duties as assigned.

$63,003- $68,668 to start. Annual increases governed by collective bargaining.
