Role Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Marketing Specialist to support a wide range of marketing initiatives across the firm. This role is well-suited for a candidate who is both creative and organized, with the ability to contribute to content development while also managing logistical and day-to-day marketing responsibilities. This position will report to the firm’s Brand and Engagement Manager.
The Marketing Specialist will play an important role in executing the firm’s marketing strategy through video content creation, community engagement, and digital channels. This includes assisting with the filming and editing of video content, supporting the coordination of community events and sponsorships, and contributing to ongoing marketing campaigns and projects.
This role will also support the firm’s social media efforts by assisting with content creation and generating ideas in collaboration with team members, rather than directly managing social media accounts.
Experience with video editing and graphic design is strongly preferred, as this role will be actively involved in content production. The ideal candidate is adaptable, dependable, and comfortable working across a variety of tasks in a professional environment.
This position offers the opportunity to gain broad exposure to marketing within a growing law firm, while contributing meaningfully to the firm’s visibility and community presence.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Assist in the planning, coordination, and execution of marketing initiatives across the firm
- Film and edit video content for use across digital platforms, including social media, website, and campaigns
- Support the management and scheduling of content across social media channels (experience preferred but not required)
- Coordinate logistics for community events, sponsorships, and firm-hosted functions, including vendor communication and on-site support
- Collaborate with internal team members to develop content that aligns with the firm’s brand and messaging
- Support client engagement efforts, including contributing to the firm’s monthly client newsletter and assisting with other client communications
- Provide general administrative and project support to the marketing department as needed
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience: 1-3 years of experience in marketing, with a focus on content creation
- Graphic Design Tools: Proficiency with Canva or similar platforms (e.g. Capcut, Adobe Express, Figma) to create branded visuals for newsletters, social media, and referral campaigns.
- Video Production: Experience filming, editing, and formatting short-form and long-form content
- Copywriting & Editing: Clear, concise writing skills for crafting newsletter content, captions, and client communications.
- Basic Analytics: Ability to track performance metrics (email opens, video engagement, directory visibility) and adjust strategies accordingly.
- Creativity: Ability to think outside the box and bring fresh ideas to the table.
- Ambition: A self-starter who is eager to learn and grow within the role.
- Adaptability: Willingness to take on a variety of tasks and juggle multiple projects at once.
- Attention to Detail: Strong organizational skills and the ability to maintain high standards in a fast-paced environment.
