Aspen Outdoor Designs is a premier landscape design–build firm based in Noblesville, Indiana, proudly serving Central Indiana homeowners for more than 29 years. Founded in 1997, Aspen was built on the belief that outdoor spaces should be more creative, thoughtfully designed, and professionally execute, with a strong focus on craftsmanship, service, and long‑term value.
We specialize in custom outdoor living environments that function as true extensions of the home, including patios, pergolas, decks, outdoor kitchens, fire features, and complete backyard transformations. Every project is fully customized, combining our clients’ vision, the natural features of their property, and our team’s creative expertise to deliver unique, functional, and beautiful results.
Our collaborative design process begins with listening and continues through expert planning and in‑house installation, ensuring a seamless experience from concept to completion. What We Need
This role calls for initiative, creativity, and a strong sense of ownership. The Marketing Manager will have the freedom to innovate, test ideas, and help guide the growth of the Aspen Outdoor Designs brand. While data, analytics, and SEO play an important role, success in this position depends on understanding people, how homeowners think, decide, and talk about great outdoor spaces.
Aspen’s goal is not maximum exposure but reaching the right clients: homeowners who value quality design, craftsmanship, and professional expertise. The most effective marketing efforts will blend sound digital and traditional marketing practices with Aspen’s strong referral‑driven reputation. Many of our clients come to us after experiencing an Aspen-designed outdoor living space at a friend, family member’s, or neighbor’s home, making thoughtful storytelling and brand alignment essential to this role.
1. Social Media Strategy & Management (45%)
· Develop and implement multi-channel social media strategies that align with business goals and objectives.
· Own the content calendar, ensuring a mix of brand storytelling, thought leadership, and engagement-driven posts.
· Oversee daily social media management, including scheduling, publishing, and responding to engagement across LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, and emerging platforms.
· Optimize content strategies based on social listening, trend analysis, and audience insights.
· Experiment with new content formats (e.g., short-form video, interactive content, user-generated content) to enhance brand engagement.
2. Content Creation (15%)
· Capture content (photos, videos, testimonials) via cell phone camera.
· Edit content using Adobe Creative Cloud tools (i.e. Photoshop, Premiere Pro, InDesign, Adobe Express, etc.)
· Maintain brand image with consistent color scheme and optimize images for the website.
· Write original blogs based on SEO research and seasonal interest.
3. Performance Analysis and Optimization (20%)
· Monitor and report on key performance metrics (engagement, reach, conversions, sentiment analysis, etc.), providing actionable insights.
· Use A/B testing and analytics tools to refine content strategy and increase ROI on organic social campaigns.
4. Email Marketing (10%)
· Create monthly marketing newsletter sent out at the end of each month using MailChimp.
· Include personalized messages, updates, Q&A, featured projects, service features, seasonal tips, and links to recently posted content.
· Monitor performance and consistently add new clients to email list.
5. Client Relations and Testimonial Process (10%)
· Communicate with clients from beginning to end of their project (more focus on the end).
· Schedule visits to capture content of homeowner’s finished project to use for social media, the company website, and for Aspen’s records.
· Answering lead generating office communications.
Qualifications
· A bachelor’s degree in marketing, Journalism, Communications, or a related field.
· Experience within Social Media Marketing.
· Strong understanding of various social media platforms and their best practices.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
· Proficiency in social media management tools and analytics platforms.
· Experience with digital marketing with a focus on earned media.
· Ability to work independently in an office setting.
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
