Faith Forward (faithforwardusa.org) is an impact organization that equips people to live and lead like Jesus in the workplace. A Christian workforce ministry, Faith Forward unites workers of all Christian denominations to learn, be supported, and grow: personally, professionally, and spiritually, to transformation only available through the Holy Spirit.
We are seeking a proactive, creative, and organized Operations & Marketing Coordinator to join our small and passionate team. This person will play a key role in supporting our mission through communications, technology, and organizational excellence. As the executional backbone of Faith Forward, this role complements our Executive Director, Mark Wallace, whose strengths lie in relational leadership and vision. This is a unique opportunity for someone who thrives behind the scenes and believes that operational excellence is a powerful act of Kingdom stewardship.
Position Overview
The Operations & Marketing Coordinator will be responsible for three key areas:
- Marketing & Communication
- Operations & Digital Platforms Management
- Executive Assistance
This position requires a strong communicator and multi-tasker who is comfortable wearing multiple hats in a collaborative, mission-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities
1. Marketing & Communication
- Manage and grow Faith Forward’s presence across social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn)
- Maintain and update website content (WebFlow)
- Design branded materials, graphics, and event promotion using Canva
- Create and schedule email campaigns using Mailchimp
- Support content creation for blogs, newsletters, and event promotions
- Ensure consistent messaging and visual identity across all platforms
2. Operations & Digital Platforms Management
- Coordinate logistics and registration for events using TicketSpice and Whova
- Set up and manage virtual events on Zoom and related platforms
- Organize files and collaboration tools using Google Docs and Microsoft Suite
- Monitor and maintain community platforms like Mighty Networks
- Track engagement metrics and help identify areas for process improvement
- Provide tech support during live digital events as needed
3. Executive Assistance
- Provide administrative support to the Executive Director, including scheduling, email follow-up, and document preparation
- Build infrastructure: events, communications, systems, CRM, member support
- Take meeting notes, organize agendas, and support project timelines
- Assist with donor communications and acknowledgment processes
- Help prepare presentations, reports, and internal communications
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in marketing, communications, administration, or related fields
- Familiarity with digital tools: Social Media Platforms, Canva, Mailchimp, TicketSpice, Whova, Zoom, Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, and Mighty Networks
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Graphic design and basic video editing skills
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Self-starter with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
- Alignment with Faith Forward’s mission and values
Work Environment & Compensation
- Location: West Fargo, ND-based
- Compensation: Depends on Experience
