Position Overview
Vision IT is seeking a Part-Time Digital Marketing & Brand Manager to own and execute our digital presence, brand messaging, and content strategy. This role is responsible for ensuring our voice, visuals, and messaging consistently reflect who we are: a mission-driven, people-first organization delivering impactful IT and cybersecurity solutions.
This is not a task-based role. This individual will serve as the owner of our brand lane, translating leadership vision into clear, compelling, and consistent messaging across all platforms.
The ideal candidate is a strong writer, a disciplined executor, and a creative thinker who can operate independently while partnering closely with executive leadership.
Key Responsibilities
Brand & Content Management (Primary Focus)
- Develop and manage a consistent content calendar aligned with company priorities
- Draft and publish executive-level content (LinkedIn posts, announcements, thought leadership)
- Translate leadership input into polished, on-brand messaging
- Ensure all content reflects Vision IT's voice
Social Media Management
- Manage and grow Vision IT's digital presence (primarily LinkedIn)
- Execute a consistent posting cadence (2–3 posts per week)
- Monitor engagement and optimize content performance
- Support employer branding and recruiting visibility
Website Content Management
- Maintain and update website content to reflect current capabilities, contracts, and messaging
- Ensure alignment with brand positioning and strategic priorities
- Optimize basic SEO elements (metadata, keywords, structure)
Graphic Design & Visual Branding
- Create clean, professional, and on-brand visuals for:
- Social media posts
- Announcements and campaigns
- Event materials and internal communications
- Maintain brand consistency across all visual assets
Campaign & Communications Support
- Support marketing efforts tied to:
- Contract wins and milestones
- Recruiting campaigns
- Corporate sponsorship
- Corporate events and community engagement
- Coordinate cross-departmental efforts to produce a monthly internal employee newsletter
- Assist in developing branded templates and communication tools
- Research and submit applications for relevant industry awards
Required Qualifications
- 5 years of experience in digital marketing, content creation, or brand management preferred, or equivalent hands-on experience supported by certifications and a strong portfolio.
- Exceptional writing and editing skills (required)
- Experience managing social media platforms for a business or brand
- Proficiency with design tools (Canva required; Adobe Creative Suite preferred)
- Experience with website content management systems (e.g., WordPress, Webflow)
- Ability to work independently and manage priorities with minimal oversight
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting a government contractor or professional services firm
- Experience creating executive-level communications
- Familiarity with LinkedIn branding and thought leadership strategies
- Understanding of IT, cybersecurity, or federal contracting environments
