The Voice of Milk is hiring a Digital Marketing Specialist to join our team.
The Voice of Milk is a collaboration between Edge Dairy Farmer Cooperative, the Dairy Business Association, and the Minnesota Milk Producers Association, along with its affiliate Farmers for Sustainable Food. Together, we represent over 1,400 dairy farmers and industry supporters, advocating for policies and programs that support the long-term success of dairy farm families and agribusinesses.

As a Digital Marketing Specialist, you will help shape and grow the Voice of Milk’s digital presence—developing campaigns, managing social media and website content, and telling the stories of dairy farmers and the communities they support. You’ll have the opportunity to bring fresh ideas, experiment with new strategies, and play a meaningful role in advancing our mission.
What You’ll Do:
Digital Marketing:
- Design and employ digital marketing campaigns to drive customer journeys with set goals and metrics
- Use analytics to inform digital marketing effectiveness
- Research and evaluate emerging digital marketing tools, platforms, and technologies to identify opportunities for innovation and efficiency.
- Take initiative to propose and implement new digital campaigns that align with organizational goals and audience interests.
- Stay current on social media and digital marketing trends, including updates to algorithms, image ratios, ad formats and platform features, ensuring content remains optimized and engaging.
Social Media:
- Manage and create social media platforms for all associations including overall strategy, content calendars and analytics
- Engage in social media community management, including responding to comments, engaging on partner pages and building relationships with others through social media.
- Curate relevant content including videos to generate daily social media posts
Weekly e-newsletters:
- Curate content and develop weekly e-newsletters for the associations
- Coordinate e-newsletter distribution
Website:
- Manage website content and updates for all organization websites
- Monitor SEO and keywords to optimize websites
- Conduct weekly website audits
- Monitor analytics to inform website content
- Collaborate to learn best practices, share ideas and leverage content and campaigns.
Marketing and event support:
- Assist with event communications and logistics
- Attend events as needed
- Coordinate member webinars (setup, recording and distribution)
- Assist with farmer-led group communications
- Manage contact databases for campaigns
- Effectively use analytics to measure campaign and social reach
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in marketing, communications or public relations preferred, or equivalent of 4+ years verifiable experience in position with similar duties.
- Prior experience with agriculture-related business preferred.
- Prior experience with HubSpot preferred.
- Proactive in identifying new opportunities for digital engagement and growth
- Strong collaborative mindset with the ability to brainstorm, share feedback and co-create campaigns with teammates
- Passion for continuous learning and experimentation within the digital marketing space
- Strong written and visual storytelling ability
- Ability to work with a team
- Acute attention to detail
- Technical command of digital platforms
- SEO, CMS management experience a plus
