The Health Center Association of Nebraska (HCAN) is actively recruiting a Project Coordinator to join our team in Omaha, Nebraska, where you will help our team support Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHC) in their mission to provide health care for all. This is an entry-level project management and program support role designed for a motivated professional who is eager to learn and grow.

Your Role:
- Provide Project Management Support for the implementation of technical assistance programs
- Assist in establishing project timelines, milestones, and deliverables
- Monitor progress and ensure completion of project steps
- Track and maintain project management systems (e.g., Asana)
- Upload and organize documents and materials within project systems
- Support Program administration
- Prepare and submit newsletter content
- Coordinate logistics for in-person and on-site technical assistance
- Develop informational and promotional materials for new programs (Canva)
- Draft professional communications for diverse audiences (including board packets)
- Organize and prepare presentation materials for meetings, technical assistance, and conferences
- Coordinate internal and external meeting logistics
- Collect and track survey responses, attendance, and registration data
- Support leadership and executive team meeting preparation (background materials, slide decks)
- Coordinate and support grant reporting requirements
- Provide support for the HCAN Conference and other special events, as needed
What We Are Looking For:
- Associate degree or equivalent experience in: Health Administration, Public Health, Business, Medical Billing & Coding, and / or Health Information Management Systems (HIMS)
- Basic project management skills
- Familiarity with project management tools like Asana (preferred)
- PMP Certification (preferred, not required)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, Outlook)
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
- Clear and professional written and verbal communication
- Ability to work independently while supporting a collaborative
Highly Valued (Not Required) Experience
- Experience working in a Community Health Center (FQHC) or outpatient clinic
- Experience in a dental clinic
- Experience in behavioral health care
- Experience with medical billing, coding, or revenue cycle management
