DREAMLIFE TREATMENT CENTER
Marketing & Business Development Coordinator
Baltimore, MD • Full-Time • On-Site / Field
ABOUT DREAMLIFE
DreamLife Treatment Center is a behavioral health facility in Baltimore, MD, dedicated to helping individuals and families overcome substance use disorders and mental health challenges. Founded on lived experience and a genuine commitment to recovery, DreamLife serves both direct clients and a growing network of referral partners — detox units, hospitals, courts, probation offices, social workers, and shelters across the region.
ROLE OVERVIEW
We are looking for a high-energy, relationship-driven Marketing & Business Development Coordinator to own DreamLife's outreach and marketing operations. This is a phone-heavy, field-based role with real accountability — you will spend your days building relationships, making calls, setting appointments, and managing the full lifecycle of our referral partner and client outreach pipeline inside HubSpot. If you thrive on human connection, understand the behavioral health space, and know how to follow up without burning bridges, this role is for you.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
Referral Partner Development
- Proactively identify and cold-call new referral partners — detox units, hospitals, ERs, courts, probation officers, shelters, and social service agencies
- Set and conduct face-to-face meetings and facility tours with prospective referral partners
- Maintain and deepen relationships with existing partners through regular touchpoints, calls, and in-person visits
- Re-engage lapsed referral partners using structured outreach sequences
- Represent DreamLife at community events, health fairs, and provider networking opportunities
Client & Family Outreach
- Reach out to prospective clients and families through appropriate channels with empathetic, non-stigmatizing communication
- Support the admissions team by following up on inquiries, nurturing warm leads, and facilitating hand-offs to intake
- Maintain contact with past clients and alumni for re-engagement and ongoing community connection
HubSpot CRM Management
- Own and maintain the HubSpot CRM — logging all calls, meetings, and outreach activity in real time
- Manage contact records, deal stages, and pipeline status for both the Referral Partner and Client pipelines
- Enroll contacts in the correct email sequences and automation workflows
- Monitor lead status, flag gaps, and ensure no contact goes unworked
- Pull and review pipeline reports to inform weekly outreach priorities
Marketing Execution
- Send and manage email campaigns, newsletters, and outreach sequences via HubSpot
- Manage DreamLife's social media presence (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn) — posting content, engaging with followers, and monitoring brand activity
- Assist in drafting and distributing the monthly referral partner newsletter
- Coordinate printed marketing materials, leave-behind packets, and partner-facing collateral
QUALIFICATIONS
Required
- Minimum 2 years of experience in behavioral health, healthcare marketing, or a related field
- Demonstrated success in business development, sales, or outreach roles with measurable results
- Comfort with high-volume phone outreach — this role requires making calls throughout the day, every day
- Experience with HubSpot or a comparable CRM platform
- Strong written and verbal communication skills across professional and empathetic contexts
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for field visits
Preferred
- Existing relationships within the Baltimore behavioral health and referral community
- Lived or professional experience with addiction recovery or mental health services
- Experience managing social media accounts for a healthcare or nonprofit brand
- Familiarity with CAN-SPAM compliance and HIPAA-compliant marketing practices
- Experience with email marketing platforms and automated outreach sequences
WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE — FIRST 90 DAYS
- Referral partner pipeline is active, organized, and being worked daily in HubSpot
- At least 10–15 new referral partner meetings booked and completed
- All existing partner relationships have been touched with a personal call or visit
- Social media is posting consistently on a content calendar
- Monthly newsletter has been sent to referral partner list
- CRM is clean — every contact has a status, every interaction is logged
COMPENSATION & DETAILS
- Full-time, salaried position — Baltimore, MD (on-site and field required)
- Competitive base salary commensurate with experience
- Performance incentives tied to referral volume and admissions activity
- Health benefits, PTO, and professional development support
- Mileage reimbursement for field travel
