Description Of Work
The Nebraska Veterinary Diagnostic Center ( NVDC ) employs state-of-the-art testing procedures to provide disease surveillance and diagnostic services to veterinarians, livestock producers, pet owners and researchers.
As a Vet Diagnostic Center Office Associate, you will:
- Receive samples from clients and answer inquiries regarding lab services and refer to appropriate staff as necessary
- Complete data entry of client/clinic information and verify billing of tests performed
- Perform client outreach through newsletter generation, email notification and maintenance of NVDC website
- Perform general office duties, including assisting the Quality Assurance manager with various tasks as needed
Due to the nature of the work, experience with medical and/or veterinary terminology is preferred but not required.

Minimum Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent plus four (4) years of related experience. Additional relevant education may substitute for experience on a year-for-year basis.
- Working knowledge of general office practices and office equipment.
- Experience with PC-based word processing and the ability to learn different software programs.
Preferred Qualifications
The following qualifications are preferred but not required:
- Experience working in a medical or veterinary office.
Posted Salary $18.80/hr minimum
