Our client is looking for a Brand Communications Strategist to join their team and support the brand's communications, marketing, and public relations efforts by developing clear, compelling stories that explain their mission and benefits. This role helps shape and protect the brand through strategic storytelling, stakeholder engagement, and community and internal communications.
This role is hybrid and will require you to come onsite at least 3 days per week to their office located in Raleigh. NC.
Brand Communications Specialist Responsibilities:
- Create high-quality written content across channels, including media releases, blogs, reports, brochures, newsletters, websites, and social media
- Develop and maintain relationships with education and community stakeholders; plan and participate in community events and presentations
- Support internal communications by creating content for the intranet and producing and distributing the weekly employee newsletter
-Track, compile, and maintain accurate data on education programs supported by the Lottery for beneficiary communications
- Support public relations and winner awareness initiatives as needed and assist with additional projects within scope
Brand Communications Specialist Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in communications, public relations, marketing, or stakeholder engagement
- Bachelor's degree in communications, marketing, or a related field
- Strong writing, editing, storytelling, and public speaking skills
- Experience working in a journalistic or contentdriven environment
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite, email marketing platforms, and intranet tools
- Ability to translate complex information into clear, audience-friendly messaging
