The Role
DailyPay, the undisputed leader of On-Demand Pay, is searching for a proactive, solution-oriented, and ambitious Associate, Communications to join our high-growth, industry-defining company. Reporting to the Senior Manager of Corporate Communications, this high-impact role is perfect for a candidate who is eager to learn, thrive in a dynamic environment, and possesses a "can-do" mentality to help shape the future of pay. This role is unique in that it involves working on both internal and external communication initiatives.
This is a hybrid position based at our New York City headquarters, with a requirement of three days in the office and the flexibility to work from home for two days.
Experience: 1-2 year(s) working in a corporate communications, internal communication, or public relations function, either in-house or agency role. Bachelor's degree in Communications or related field; equivalent experience considered.
Responsibilities
- Communication Drafting & Coordination: Draft internal materials including Slack messages, company-wide emails, and announcements. You will oversee the communications calendar to ensure a consistent and organized flow of information.
- Lead Award Submissions: Drive third-party validation for DailyPay by leading our award submission process. This involves identifying relevant opportunities, crafting compelling submissions, and meticulously maintaining a database of all outcomes, and identifying opportunities to communicate these internally and externally.
- Project Support & Execution: Support the development of communication plans for major initiatives, and ad-hoc requests, by drafting communications and helping move projects through the approval and rollout phases.
- Support Company-wide Town Hall: Support company-wide Town Halls by helping develop messaging drafts, deck creation, talking points, and employee engagement.
- Company Newsletter: Manage the end-to-end creation and distribution of the company newsletter, working in Axios HQ, leveraging "Smart Brevity." You will source content from across the business, draft engaging copy, manage the layout, and ensure timely delivery to keep all employees informed and inspired.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Partner with various stakeholders across the business to assist in the execution of communication campaigns, aligning closely with our business objectives.
- Process Maintenance: Manage and update the Internal Communications Tracker, ensuring all internal channels are integrated and documentation is current.

Compensation Range: $64K - $84K
