The Administrative Assistant will support the Vice President of International Affairs and Vice President of Corporate relations, by publishing weekly e-trade newsletter, assisting with high-profile international trade related events and trade policy activity, providing frequent Internet research, preparing data and reports, and other administrative activities.
Responsibilities
- Writes, organize and layout monthly trade newsletter.
- Meeting & Event planning, coordination and execution.
- Outbound & Inbound phone calls providing information and answering questions.
- Calendaring/scheduling Appointments in addition to making travel arrangements.
- Process invoices and follow up on payments.
- Reporting: run reports and analyze data.
- General administrative duties, filing, copying scanning, general correspondence.
- Required to travel as necessary for events (occasional international travel)
- Supports Events team with companywide events.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in international Affairs or related field or 1-2 years' experience in International Trade and Business Affairs.
- Has studied abroad or traveled abroad.
- Strong oral and written communications skills.
- Comfortable working independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to interact with people across all levels and backgrounds.
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Word, Excel, Power Point & Outlook.
- Experience with web editing tools and software is as plus.
- Needs to have familiarity with trade policy and international events.
