Reporting to the Senior Director of Network, Ambulatory and Physician Marketing, with dotted-line reporting to Mount Sinai Doctors Administration, the Ambulatory Marketing and Communications Coordinators primary responsibilities are to assist in developing, implementing, and monitoring ambulatory practice marketing initiatives and manage internal communications efforts for the Mount Sinai Doctors Ambulatory practices. All efforts will support the goals of volume/revenue building and enhanced staff communication for the Mount Sinai Doctors ambulatory locations, and support the short- and long-term goals of the Mount Sinai Health System.
Responsibilities
- As a member of the Central Marketing and Communications team, the candidate will assist in development and planning for annual marketing initiatives as determined by ambulatory leadership. Tasks may include creation of marketing briefs for our ad agency, trafficking of ad creative with media buying agency, monitoring of ad performance using existing tools and processes, creating marketing performance reports for periodic ambulatory leadership meetings, and other tasks as needed.
- Develop and implement internal communications content for Mount Sinai Doctors ambulatory practices, including a periodic e-newsletter, broadcast email notifications, and Intranet. Use existing or new tools to accomplish tasks, utilizing approved MSHS templates and brand standards.
- Help maintain online physician profiles
- Manage photography needs for marketing and communications purposes as needed. May require local travel to ambulatory practices.
- Provide briefing documents and production support for creation of video content.
- Project manage signage development and deployment, in collaboration with Creative Services and Branding teams.
- Maintain expense budgets for marketing and communications activities to ensure projects fall within budget parameters. Utilize approved MS vendors. When 3rd party vendors involved, assist in researching quotes and vendor onboarding.
- Performs other duties as required
Qualifications
- BA/BS Degree is required, with a preference for a major in communications, marketing, or public affairs
- 3-5+ years of experience in marketing communications preferred. Experience in a client/relationship-facing role is highly desirable. Community outreach is a plus.
- Familiarity with digital communications technologies
- A working knowledge of healthcare, science, or biomedical issues is preferred.
- Demonstrated project management skills including planning, scheduling, meeting deadlines and working with internal stakeholders and vendors to complete projects on time and within budget.
- Capable of working in a highly matrixed environment with competing priorities is essential.
- Has an understanding of how communications and/or marketing plans are developed.

Compensation
The Mount Sinai Health System (MSHS) provides salary ranges that comply with the New York City Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for the role is $59895 - $89843 Annually. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, education, and operational need. The salary range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.
