We're hiring a Content Manager to own the content engine behind Pete Sena's founder brand and the two companies under it: Resonance (creative + product) and Grantbot (AI training + automation). Pete generates significant raw material every week, including meeting transcripts, Loom recordings, voice notes, decks, and conversations, and today, most of it sits unused. We're looking for someone to mine that material, shape it into high-quality content across LinkedIn, Substack, short-form video, and lead magnets, and grow a slow-moving audience into an engaged community that generates inbound leads. This is not a posting calendar role. This is a strategic content role with significant creative output.
About the working relationship
You'll be working closely with a fast-moving founder who produces ideas faster than they can be captured. He needs a content partner who can:
- Translate raw thinking into polished, on-voice content
- Operate independently with minimal hand-holding
- Bring proposals and prototypes rather than wait for direction
- Read the data and adjust strategy in real time
- Maintain his voice and point of view across every format
What you'll own
1. The LinkedIn engine: Daily posts written in Pete’s voice, informed by his actual thinking rather than generic AI output. Thoughtful engagement in the comments and DMs, posting as him, and focused on building real relationships instead of surface-level interaction.
2. The Substack: Grow it from an early-stage publication into a flywheel. Use the data to identify what’s resonating. Propose lead magnets, course concepts, or paid offerings when readers signal demand.
3. Multi-format content production: Long-form essays, short-form posts, video clips, carousels, and newsletters. You’ll partner with our in-house designer (Israel) for visuals. You do not need to be a designer yourself, but you do need creative taste and a clear point of view.
4. Community management: Identify and nurture relationships with high signal followers, commenters, and DM correspondents. Build the connective tissue that turns audience members into champions and inbound leads.
5. Reporting tied to business outcomes: Track LinkedIn impressions, Substack subscriber quality, inbound leads attributable to content, and conversion to discovery calls. Surface insights that inform strategy.
A typical week
- Review 5–10 of Pete’s recent meeting transcripts and identify 3–5 ideas worth developing
- Publish 5 LinkedIn posts and engage meaningfully with 20+ comments and DMs
- Draft and publish 1 Substack essay
- Produce 2–3 short videos from existing Loom recordings or call footage
- Bring one proactive proposal, whether that’s a new format, lead magnet, or content series
- Review performance data and recommend adjustments
Who you are
- A strong writer with taste, voice, and the ability to think on the page
- Strategic about distribution, not just creation. You understand that good content with no plan is wasted work
- Comfortable working with AI tools as collaborators that make you faster, without producing generic output
- Skilled at extracting the underlying idea from a transcript, not just the surface-level quote
- Self-directed and proposal-oriented. You bring ideas, prototypes, and documentation rather than questions
- Detail-oriented about voice, tone, and consistency across platforms
- Genuinely curious about the audiences and topics you’re writing for
Qualifications
Required
- 3+ years producing content for social, newsletters, or content marketing across agency, in house, or freelance environments
- Demonstrated writing ability with published work samples
- Deep familiarity with LinkedIn as a platform, including formats, audience behavior, and content dynamics
- Working fluency with AI tools integrated into a content workflow
- Strong visual sensibility, even if you are not designing yourself
Preferred
- Experience ghostwriting or producing content in another person's voice
- Substack or newsletter experience with documented growth
- Light video editing skills (CapCut, Descript, Premiere)
- Background in a founder-led brand, creator economy, or agency environment
- Familiarity with the AI and future-of-work space
Who this role isn't for
- Anyone who prefers briefs, checklists, and clear handoffs over autonomy
- Brand managers from corporate or CPG environments without social-native content experience
- Copywriters who aren't engaged with strategy, distribution, or performance
- Anyone who wants to be told what to post
How we work
We are builders. We prefer ten quick prototypes with heart over one perfect deliverable. You’ll have the freedom to propose, prototype, and document, along with the responsibility that comes with it.
The compensation path is real. We start lean at $1,500/month to prove the engine together, with a defined progression to $3,000–$4,000+/month as content drives a measurable pipeline. As the role scales, so does the scope, including conversations around equity and the opportunity to lead a small content team over time.
What success looks like in 90 days
- Pete's LinkedIn presence is consistent, in-voice, and producing measurable engagement growth
- Substack publishing cadence is steady and subscriber growth is trending up
- A repeatable content workflow exists for mining transcripts, drafting, and shipping
- At least one proactive proposal (lead magnet, course, format) has been tested with results
- A clear reporting rhythm ties content output to business outcomes
