The Director is an senior-level leader who owns the client relationship, drives team performance, and operates at a high level of strategic and business accountability. In this role, you're the final set of eyes before anything goes to a client, the person setting strategy thirty to sixty days ahead of the need, and the one ensuring KPIs are hit — every month, without exception. You're actively involved in growing the account, contributing to new business, managing budgets, and developing the next generation of Konnect leaders. You don't just oversee the work — you set the standard for it.
What You'll Do

- Participate in all client calls, provide oversight and strategic guidance to the team

- Initiate and oversee all key client documents and account strategies at least 30 days ahead of need — leading the strategy, flow, and team briefing so execution runs smoothly
- Own all major client deliverables at the final product level with minimal changes from Executive Leadership — including QBR decks, campaign and quarterly strategy decks, Konnect service upsell documents, wrap reports, and end-of-month reports

- Proactively develop forward-looking account strategies for all managed clients at least six months ahead
- Track and monitor hours bi-weekly across all accounts to ensure time and deliverable accountability, correct hours input from the team, and work with Account Leaders to identify and resolve scope creep

- Identify and close upsell opportunities for existing clients, targeting a minimum of $25,000 in incremental agency fees per year
- Participate in at least two new business developments, RFPs, and pitches per year with Executive Leadership support
- Draft one piece of content per quarter for the Konnect newsletter (minimum 800 words) in your area of expertise
- Deliver two client testimonials or case studies per year and share with the management team
- Participate in at least two in-person meetings per client annually alongside Executive Leadership
- Attend up to two industry events, shows, or conferences per year on behalf of the agency
- Lead the development of team members through structured monthly touchpoints, constructive feedback, and intentional delegation
